Captain Murrue Ramius, Cagalli, Kisaka, Lowe, and the others immediately grew serious at his words. They watched Andrew through the screen, waiting for him to speak.
Andrew met their gazes and gathered his thoughts before speaking.
"The battle on the Moon is about to resume!"
Cagalli's expression darkened, and a note of sadness entered her voice.
"More fighting?"
Andrew glanced at Cagalli's downcast, sorrowful eyes, then addressed everyone.
"We just spoke with Miss Clyne aboard the Athena. The decision was to hold our position for now."
Captain Murrue Ramius sought confirmation from Andrew.
"Mr. Waltfeld, are we supposed to stay here and do nothing?"
Andrew looked at Captain Murrue Ramius and nodded slightly.
"That's right. For now, we hold our position."
With that confirmed, Murrue Ramius asked no further questions and waited silently for Andrew to continue.
Andrew turned his gaze to the others and continued.
"Although we're holding our position, we still need to discuss the specific tactics we'll use once the operation begins, so we can move quickly." At that, Andrew took a deep breath before continuing. "So, what ideas do you have for our next move?"
On the Moon, inside Creation's cockpit ahead of the Athena, Felix gripped the control sticks with both hands and used his ability to sense everything before him.
His expression tightened, and he spoke calmly.
"Incoming missiles!"
His words reached everyone's ears over the comms.
They were all somewhat bewildered.
"Heine, how did the captain figure that out?"
Dorens asked Heine over the comms.
Heine answered with a puzzled look.
"I don't know the answer to that either."
Heine had barely admitted his ignorance when Yalik's warning rang out through the speakers.
"Everyone, prepare for combat! Enemy incoming!"
Heine was startled by the warning.
*Holy crap! The captain was actually faster
