Victoria Spaceport Defense Battle (Part One)

"These missiles have been fitted with a different guidance system. They won't behave like before. Everyone, be careful."

Noticing the missiles' unusual behavior, Felix warned the others over comms. Once he'd finished, he made a few minor adjustments to the White Ginn's movements, testing how it handled.

After several maneuvers, he confirmed his suspicion: the missiles kept tracking their targets continuously.

His hands shifted on the controls.

The White Ginn changed its maneuvers accordingly. Felix raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun and opened fire ahead.

A few shots took out the incoming missiles.

With the missiles exploding around him, Felix drove the White Ginn onward. After the other Ginn pilots dealt with the situation, they followed behind him.

The squad flew for more than ten minutes before encountering the Earth Alliance Forces, about 450 kilometers from Victoria Spaceport.

Before they could launch an attack, the Earth Alliance Forces struck first.

Air-to-air missiles launched from the Vanguard Fighters.

Equipped with heat-seeking and optical sensors, the missiles streaked toward Felix and the others at tremendous speed. On the ground, tanks raised their guns and fired electromagnetic and conventional shells at the same time.

The shells chased after the missiles toward Felix and his squad.

Facing the dense barrage, Felix controlled the White Ginn and used the Heavy Assault Machine Gun to blast apart the dangerous incoming missiles.

Inside the cockpit

He pushed the throttle and worked the pedals, controlling the thrust output of the White Ginn and Guul.

As he did so, Felix made the corresponding adjustments with his hands, issuing movement commands. The Quantum Computer carried them out, and the White Ginn and Guul maneuvered as instructed.

While they moved, he held the control stick firmly and made fine adjustments, ensuring the movements suited the situation.

Outside

The White Ginn stood atop the Guul. The Guul maneuvered first, dodging electromagnetic shells that came after the missiles.

As soon as it had evaded them, it maneuvered again to dodge the conventional shells that followed.

After a series of evasive moves, the Guul carried the White Ginn toward the Vanguard Fighters.

The Earth Alliance Forces' Vanguard Fighters coordinated with one another, forming up to meet the White Ginn's attack.

In the brief exchange, the White Ginn dodged every burst from the Vanguard Fighters' cannons. Using the Ginn's powerful mobility and its own formidable physical capabilities, it was the first to make a sharp turn.

The White Ginn raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.

Muzzle flashes erupted as bullets tore out of the gun.

Bang!

A high-speed bullet struck the tail of a Vanguard Fighter with pinpoint accuracy.

"I've been hit!"

Inside the Vanguard Fighter's cockpit, the pilot saw the warning indicators flashing across the screen and shouted over the comms.

As soon as he finished, he activated the ejection system.

The canopy blasted away, and the rocket-assisted seat shot clear of the cockpit. After reaching a certain height, the pilot jettisoned the seat, and his parachute opened successfully.

Just as he was congratulating himself on surviving, a bullet tore through the parachute.

"Ah!"

His pupils contracted, terror at the prospect of death filling his eyes as he let out a scream.

His body plunged toward the ground, completely beyond his control.

After firing, Felix maneuvered the White Ginn through the air, dodging the ground vehicles' fire before turning and firing at them.

Two shots blew up two tanks.

After those shots, Felix made another move.

The White Ginn dodged a second attack from the Vanguard Fighters. As they crossed in midair, it drew the Heavy Slash Blade and slashed into one of them.

Boom!

A violent explosion erupted at once.

The pilot was swallowed by the blast before he could even eject.

The White Ginn stowed the Heavy Slash Blade and opened fire with the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.

Rat-tat...!!

Several shots rang out!

The Vanguard Fighters scrambled to evade, and the formation was completely scattered by the attack.

While dodging the ground fire, the White Ginn took aim at the Vanguard Fighters and fired.

Two shots rang out, and two Vanguard Fighters instantly exploded apart.

"These ground guns are such a nuisance!"

Looking at the situation on the screen, Felix grumbled.

He lowered the muzzle toward the ground and squeezed the trigger.

Several bullets flew from the barrel.

Boom! Boom!

A series of violent explosions thundered across the ground.

Two tanks were blown apart by the bullets, while three more were flipped by the blasts and knocked out of the fight.

Having dealt with the ground fire, the White Ginn aimed at the Vanguard Fighters in the sky again.

Before firing, it maneuvered in midair to dodge the cannon fire.

Rat-tat!!

Two shots rang out, and bullets shot from the gun.

The bullets cut across the rumbling sky and raced toward two Vanguard Fighters ahead.

The pilots learned of the approaching danger through their optical sensors. Gripping the control sticks, they pulled up and rolled right to evade.

The sudden increase in G-force left the pilots, despite wearing Anti-G Suits, feeling miserable.

Watching the two fighters roll to evade, Felix squeezed the trigger. The White Ginn fired the Heavy Assault Machine Gun again.

As the bullets flew from the gun, the Guul carried the White Ginn through the air, dodging shells fired from the ground and sky.

Boom! Boom!

Two explosions erupted.

Their flames were reflected inside the cockpit.

Felix paid them little mind and continued controlling the White Ginn in battle.

Lowering the muzzle toward the ground, he opened fire.

Two shots flipped and destroyed two tanks. The White Ginn made a slight adjustment to the left, dodging bullets fired from behind.

In midair, the White Ginn unlocked its connection to the Guul. As the Guul maneuvered, the White Ginn turned around on the spot and aimed at two Vanguard Fighters behind them.

Bang! Bang!

Two shots rang out!

Boom! Boom!

Two explosions sounded in the sky as the two Vanguard Fighters attempting to ambush them exploded apart.

After taking care of those two fighters, the White Ginn landed back on the Guul. Carrying it, the Guul flew at high speed through the sky, dodging attacks from other directions.

While evading, Felix watched the positions of the Vanguard Fighters and ground tanks, thinking of a new way to end the battle quickly.

As he thought, the Guul maneuvered to the left.

It dodged the incoming bullets, and Felix raised his gun and fired.

Bang!

The bullet pierced the Vanguard Fighter's rear thruster nozzle. Thick smoke poured from its tail as it fell toward the ground.

After trying and failing to regain control, the pilot decisively chose to eject.

The ejection seat had barely shot out when it collided with a bullet fired by the White Ginn. Before the parachute could open, the pilot was dead.
