Second Spaceport Defense Battle (4)

Inside the rear command center of the Earth Alliance Forces.

Hope, who was overseeing the command center, received the latest intelligence from the front lines. Looking at the contents of the report, he issued an order without a moment's hesitation.

"Launch!"

With those two short words spoken.

Two hundred Vanguard Fighter units took to the skies one after another.

The massive fleet of fighters formed up in the air and flew toward the front.

On the front lines.

Felix, who was currently in combat, received a report from the rear command center.

"Captain, according to our scouts lurking near the Earth Alliance Forces base! The Earth Alliance Forces have launched nearly two hundred more Vanguard Fighter units, and they are heading directly toward your position."

"Order half of the reserve force to deploy to the northern defense line!"

Upon learning the situation, Felix ordered half of the reserve force to deploy without hesitation. The command center received the order and relayed Felix's intentions to the troops.

Under the command, the ready reserve force began to take off.

Fifty Ginn units formed a formation and flew toward the front.

On the front lines.

After issuing his order, Felix maneuvered his Ginn to dodge an incoming fighter attack. He raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in the Ginn's hands and unleashed a hail of bullets.

The Vanguard Fighter was struck with precision while maneuvering.

The fighter exploded and disintegrated in mid-air instantly.

The Ginn lowered its weapon, maneuvered to the right to dodge an attack, raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun once more, and fired again.

A stream of bullets streaked across the sky, heading straight for a Vanguard Fighter.

"Damn it!"

The Vanguard Fighter pilot let out a ferocious cry.

It was too late to maneuver the fighter; before he could complete the evasion, the bullets pierced through the craft.

BOOM!

A violent explosion occurred instantly, swallowing the pilot along with the Vanguard Fighter.

Watching the fiery glow of the explosion, Felix operated the controls rapidly, and the Ginn responded to his actions once again. It performed an upward somersault in the air, dodging bullets fired from all sides.

Upside down after the flip, the Ginn, under Felix's control, opened fire in several directions at high speed.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A series of explosions erupted all around.

In the blink of an eye, several Vanguard Fighter units were blown to pieces.

The Ginn finished its somersault and leveled out. The Guul's rear thrusters ignited, unleashing a powerful burst of thrust. In a short span of time, the Ginn's forward speed surged.

It flew toward the Vanguard Fighters ahead at extreme speed.

The fighter pilot looked at the approaching Ginn with terror, his hands moving incessantly. The Vanguard Fighter's cannons fired continuously as it maneuvered in the air to evade.

Taking in the fighter's trajectory through his screen, Felix formulated an attack plan in his mind.

The Ginn raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in its hands.

Watching the Ginn raise its Heavy Assault Machine Gun, the Vanguard Fighter pilot predicted the incoming attack in his mind.

Both Felix and the pilot were making predictions, locked in a psychological battle. However, in this contest, the pilot's predictions could not surpass Felix's.

The Ginn's Heavy Assault Machine Gun opened fire.

The bullets flew exactly along the path Felix had envisioned.

The pilot, having misjudged the attack, tried to adjust, but it was too late. He could only watch helplessly as the bullets pierced through his fighter.

He felt his body being swallowed by the explosion.

Having destroyed that Vanguard Fighter.

Felix controlled the Guul's thrusters to rotate their angle, causing the Ginn to spin in place in mid-air, then maneuvered to the left to dodge an attack.

The fighter, which had been attacking while flying toward him, crossed paths with Felix's Ginn in the air.

The Ginn drew the Heavy Slash Blade from its waist and delivered a clean, decisive strike, causing the Vanguard Fighter to explode instantly.

After destroying the Vanguard Fighter, Felix maneuvered the Ginn to quickly disengage from the area. Just as he was about to continue his assault, a large swarm of missiles suddenly appeared, flying toward him.

"Looks like enemy reinforcements!"

Felix muttered to himself as he watched the missiles.

Just as he was about to control the Ginn to launch an attack, a voice came through the comms.

"Captain, we're here!"

The sound reached his ears, and the corners of Felix's mouth curled upward slightly.

The next moment, he saw a swarm of missiles flying in from behind him, soaring past his Ginn to intercept the incoming projectiles.

Missiles collided with missiles, creating a wall of fire that erupted across the sky.

"Captain, we aren't late, are we?"

"Not late at all. Join the fray."

With a smirk, Felix replied.

As he spoke, the Vanguard Fighter squadrons of the Earth Alliance Forces emerged from behind the wall of fire.

The moment these formations arrived, the remaining Vanguard Fighter units in the airspace merged with the reinforcements. The Ginn units fighting the Earth Alliance Forces also linked up with the arriving Ginn reinforcements!

For a brief moment, the fighting in the sky ceased.

The two armies stood in a standoff!

On the ground.

"What the hell are those air force bastards doing?"

Inside a tank, the gunner watched the situation above, cursing under his breath. The commander listened to the gunner's words but offered no response.

"Commander, do we open fire?"

The gunner asked.

Just as the commander was about to order the strike, the fleeting standoff in the sky vanished without a trace.

Both sides moved in unison, locked once again in a brutal dogfight across the airspace.

"Sigh! Such a good opportunity, but it was too short. I wish it had lasted longer."

Watching the standoff end in a flash, the gunner sighed. As he lamented, he complained about how frustrating it was to fire without radar.

In the sky.

Felix piloted his Ginn deep into the heart of the battle, a Heavy Slash Blade gripped in its hand.

With a single downward slash, he destroyed a fighter.

After obliterating the craft, the Ginn maneuvered through the air, dodging incoming fire from behind. The Ginn spun around and opened fire.

A single, precise shot blew the Vanguard Fighter to pieces.

Having done this, Felix noticed one of his subordinates in danger; he shifted his aim, and the Heavy Assault Machine Gun opened fire once more.

Bullets streaked through the air, striking the Vanguard Fighter and saving his subordinate's life. As he did so, the Ginn performed an aerial flip under Felix's control to evade an attack.

The thrust from the Guul Thruster surged, and the Ginn dashed toward a new target.

The Heavy Slash Blade was gripped tight.

In a momentary crossing, the Vanguard Fighter was instantly torn in two, the pilot killed by the strike. The two halves of the fighter plummeted toward the ground, exploding mid-air.

The exploding fighter didn't warrant a second glance from Felix. At that moment, he was putting his Ginn through a series of complex maneuvers, dodging attacks coming from multiple directions.
