Zhang Anzai nodded, indicating: "Nothing wrong, just a bit of minor contamination, already cleared out."
As he spoke, he took the training room keycard from Lin Zhao's hand.
Personal training rooms—this was where most employees came when they visited this place.
Fully enclosed, high privacy, and capable of freely adjusting training scenarios, they were used to practice with the items or skills purchased from the company's internal store.
Zhang Anzai had come here, of course, to test his newly acquired skills, as well as the Weakness Break enchanted attack newly unlocked from his inheritance.
After all, these weren't like paper-cutting; they couldn't be practiced in the dormitory.
"Glad you're okay. Keep an eye on the time; it's almost time to clock in, don't get caught by the dog-head," Lin Zhao said, waving her hand as she walked into the elevator.
Zhang Anzai nodded, then turned toward the other side of the gym.
A long corridor lined with countless small rooms—it felt somewhat similar to the simulated consciousness space scenarios he had experienced earlier.
He found the training room according to the number on his keycard and walked inside.
The interior was a space with a distinct sci-fi feel, with white-iron walls and ceilings; once the door was closed, the entire space felt like a seamless whole.
Zhang Anzai tapped the keycard against his phone, and the screen immediately displayed: "Detected that you have entered Personal Training Room 307."
"Remaining training time: 15:39."
"Available training projects:..."
"Available training scenarios:..."
The company's internal equipment was just that mysterious and high-end.
With a few adjustments, one could simulate almost any scenario: a company office, an alleyway, a mountain forest, underwater, or even on an airplane or in a shopping mall.
The training projects were also diverse, ranging from shooting and sports to combat, and even driving, mechanical operation, medical procedures, and spell rituals.
He often heard other new administrators grumbling that it would be better to give these projects to the players; the new administrators had no real chance to get their hands dirty, and letting the players train properly so they would stop sabotaging them in the dungeons would be the greatest help of all.
However, Zhang Anzai didn't think this project was redundant; at least for him, it was quite useful.
"Who says players can't use it? Aren't I using it right now?" Zhang Anzai scanned the diverse special scenarios and training projects. As expected, many of them required payment, and they weren't exactly cheap.
Only the most basic ones were free, and they were barely different from a blank slate, just providing a basic feel.
But that didn't matter; he didn't have any powerful or special skills yet, so the basics were enough.
"No purchase history, which means Lin Zhao was training on the basic projects. Which one could it be? Looking at how she just finished showering, she wouldn't be coming here to work out every noon, would she..."
The company uniforms were standard issue; although they fit well, they didn't really show off one's figure. Even though the women's attire wasn't a formal suit but rather a selection of casual commuter wear, Zhang Anzai couldn't really tell what Lin Zhao's physique was actually like.
"Forget it, it doesn't matter. Everyone has their own opportunities." Zhang Anzai first selected a very basic wooden dummy striking project.
To put it simply, hitting a humanoid wooden target.
The scenario didn't even change; a white humanoid wooden dummy simply descended into the room.
Zhang Anzai didn't foolishly use his completely untrained fists and feet. Instead, while warming up, he used the panel to summon a free weapon: a steel pipe.
"Sticks aren't hard to find in dungeons. I'll use this to test it out so I can have some expectations later." Zhang Anzai twirled the steel pipe, then stepped forward, grabbed it with both hands, and swung it fiercely.
"Clang!" The steel pipe emitted a violent clashing sound. Zhang Anzai hadn't used too much force, so his hands didn't hurt particularly much.
Of course, in return, the wooden dummy didn't react much either, save for the wooden skin on its surface splitting open.
This dummy was much tougher than a human body; if a normal person were hit like this with a steel pipe, their bones would definitely break.
Zhang Anzai shook his hands, then began to call upon his skill.
"Hoo..." Zhang Anzai took a deep breath and swung the steel pipe out once more.
Only this time, the shadow cast by the pipe in his hand under the lights seemed to distort for a split second.
Behind that shadow, something extra seemed to appear, as if a large hand had flicked its finger there, striking the steel pipe and causing it to launch forward abruptly.
"Crack!" Zhang Anzai saw the spot where his steel pipe struck split open with a force disproportionate to his own, as if it had suffered an additional attack in a place invisible to the naked eye.
Although it didn't shatter the wooden dummy in one blow, he leaned in to take a closer look: "The crack is deep... it really is Weakness Break."
This strike not only amplified the damage but also conducted the attack effect to a deeper level.
"Knowing it reaches this level is enough..." Zhang Anzai roughly estimated that the destructive power of this strike was likely three to five times his current normal attack, and it also carried a piercing effect.
"With this effect, I'll call this move [World Breaker] from now on."
The attack effect was good, but of course, the cost was also significant.
He could feel it draining his physical stamina, and he was genuinely exhausted after using it. Zhang Anzai propped the steel pipe he was holding onto the ground, feeling as if he had just swung it at full strength ten times in a row.
"At most, I can use it four or five times before I'm completely drained. This move really can't be used recklessly."
As Zhang Anzai pondered this, he sat on the ground, picked up his phone, and switched the surrounding scenario.
The next thing to test was, naturally, that Ghost Wall-Building skill, which still felt somewhat dramatic when he thought about it.
The scenario he adjusted for was a construction site.
In reality, it was basically just a patch of bare ground, except for a small mound of dirt, a brick wall with a door frame that hadn't been finished yet, and some cement and rebar piled on the ground.
The moment the selection was finalized, these items appeared out of thin air; it was impossible to tell if it was holographic projection or some other technology.
This training room was only slightly larger than a standard double room, and piling all these things inside made it feel incredibly cramped.
However, it was perfect for him to test his abilities.
Zhang Anzai had spotted that raw, unfinished door frame in the scene at a glance. His ability seemed to have a range limit, and having such an object as a reference point would help him better gauge his power level.
"Click..." Zhang Anzai picked up a loose brick from the side of the brick wall; it felt solid and substantial, feeling completely real to the touch.
The skill he had acquired was like an inherited ability, as if it had suddenly become an instinct he was intimately familiar with.
The only thing was, while he could use it naturally, he still wasn't clear on exactly what the effect would be.
"Click!" Zhang Anzai placed the gray stone brick into the door frame.
Then, in the blink of an eye, the scene before him suddenly changed.
The door frame was suddenly filled with brick after brick, from the bottom of the frame where he had placed the brick, all the way up to the unfinished edges of the frame.
The entire process was completely silent, completed almost instantaneously.
"The effect is quite good..." Zhang Anzai looked it up and down; the details were perfect, the edges were flush, and there were no flaws.
Moreover, he reached out and pressed against it, and it truly had the tactile sensation of touching a brick wall.
"However..." Zhang Anzai turned his head and reached down to pull a steel rebar from the ground.
"Whoosh!" He swung the rebar across the doorway in an instant. It met no resistance whatsoever, and the illusion simply shattered.
The entire door frame was left with nothing but that single small brick.
Zhang Anzai tossed the rebar aside, turned to look at the other construction materials in the scene, and muttered, "Let's try something else..."
