  • Hiruko announced that he had taken four Kekkei Genkai and planned to claim Kakashi's to become an immortal shinobi and start the Fourth Shinobi World War.
  • Genya ordered Nami to recall Kakashi, then argued with Ōnoki and Rasa during an alliance meeting and refused to accept blame for Hiruko's actions.
  • A messenger bird reported that Kakashi had attacked his teammates and vanished, so Genya sent Itachi, Hyuga Sora, Inuzuka Hana, and Pakura to bring him back.
