Sukunahikona couldn't shrink living things other than its user.
But then again, if one day he had to fight Isshiki head-on, wouldn't Samehada actually be the ideal weapon?
As Samehada came at him, Keiichi had no time to think. He simply turned Sukunahikona's effect on himself, and vanished from where he stood.
He shrank until he was too small for the naked eye to see.
Huh?
Kisame looked around in utter bewilderment. He hadn't seen how his opponent had disappeared at all.
Taking advantage of the moment, Keiichi quickly formed Hand Seals and used Transparent Style, rendering himself invisible.
After all, Sukunahikona's effect didn't last long.
"Kisame, Jiraiya's catching up. We shouldn't stay here. Time to go."
"Tch, what a bore." Kisame pursed his lips but obediently put away his greatsword.
Itachi left the unconscious Sasuke lying to one side as casually as if he were tossing away trash. Without hesitation, the two of them hurried off.
It seemed Jiraiya had put them under considerable pressure.
Before they left, however, Keiichi noticed Itachi glance in his direction, seemingly at random, as if he had seen through his Invisibility Technique.
Fortunately, aside from that one glance, Itachi did nothing else.
Sure enough, Jiraiya arrived not long afterward, with Naruto following beside him.
It had taken Jiraiya quite a bit of effort to seal away Amaterasu's black flames.
When he saw Jiraiya, Keiichi breathed a sigh of relief and quickly dispelled his Invisibility Technique.
"Huh... Transparent Style? Was that you, kid?" Jiraiya exclaimed in surprise.
"Sir, they got away. Sorry, I wasn't strong enough to stop them." Keiichi gave a bitter smile.
"Hmph, don't flatter yourself. Even I couldn't say for sure that I could hold them here. Itachi was even stronger than I expected." Jiraiya waved a hand and sighed.
Hmm...
