"Why is it that even though I have the Tenseigan, you all call me a useless half-breed!" Staring at the star-like blue eyes in the mirror, Hyuga Shin looked up at the sky.

After transmigrating into a nobody clan, Hyuga Shin had thought he would be a nobody too. But right from the start, the system had given him a cheat: the Tenseigan. Hyuga Shin figured he didn't know how long his blade was, so he could afford to let you run for a year.

Sitting in the courtyard by the entrance, Hyuga Shin couldn't help sighing.

"Why hasn't the system awakened yet? It brought me to this Naruto world, where people die and whole villages are wiped out, made a brief appearance, and then disappeared."

Hyuga Shin couldn't help complaining. This golden finger seemed a bit unreliable.

Hyuga Shin had originally been from China. Somehow, he'd gone to sleep and woken up in the Naruto world—as a newborn baby, no less.

Just after Hyuga Shin was born, the system's voice had appeared in his mind. Before he could even be happy, it had made a brief appearance and vanished.

It had said it was updating, but three years had passed and the update still wasn't finished. He didn't know if it had crashed.

Fortunately, when the system had appeared, it had already given Hyuga Shin his beginner's reward. That was the reason he hadn't jumped for joy.

When the system had appeared, it had given Hyuga Shin the bloodline of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. It had also refined his body, elevating his bloodline.

After his bloodline was elevated, Hyuga Shin had gained pure Byakugan. Combined with the Ōtsutsuki bloodline and the system's help, he'd started out with the Tenseigan. It was fantastic.

That was why Hyuga Shin wasn't worried. With the Tenseigan, and the physical refinement from the system, his talent had improved. Even if the system never showed up again, he couldn't claim he'd rule the Ninja World, but he'd have no trouble protecting himself.

Hyuga Shin took out a mirror and gazed at the starry blue eyes reflected in it. A smile spread across his adorable little face. If he went outside, he could definitely melt the hearts of a bunch of big sisters.

"Have to say, I'm pretty good-looking. I can just make a living off my face from now on," Hyuga Shin said narcissistically.

"Ugh! The Tenseigan's powerful, but I can't afford to use it! Otherwise, I'd really like to see if I could slice the moon in half with one strike." Hyuga Shin stroked his eye and lamented.

The Tenseigan was too powerful. Hyuga Shin couldn't afford the chakra it consumed.

"Hyuga Teppan, don't bother me if you don't have anything to do. Go show off to someone else." Hyuga Shin didn't want to talk to this fool and risk losing brain cells.

"You're just jealous because you didn't get this mark." Hyuga Teppan was full of himself and didn't even notice Hyuga Shin's contemptuous expression.

"So this is what they mean by being sold and then helping the seller count the money," Hyuga Shin grumbled to himself.

The Hyuga Clan's brainwashing had clearly reached an impressive level. They'd been fitted with a time bomb and still thought it was an honor. Terrifying.

Would he look back on this when he grew up and think, "Was I an idiot?"

Hyuga Shin wondered, a smile appearing on his face. He really wanted to see if Hyuga Teppan would cry when he learned the truth.

Seeing the mocking smile on Hyuga Shin's face, Hyuga Teppan was furious. "Are you making fun of me? I'm challenging you to a duel!"

Hyuga Shin was taken aback, then smiled. "When did I make fun of you? I was actually just jealous."

As he spoke, Hyuga Shin put on an envious expression. Hyuga Teppan's mood improved, and his vanity was thoroughly satisfied.

Puffing out his chest, Hyuga Teppan said, "If anyone calls you a loser again, come find me. I'll protect you."

Hyuga Shin chuckled, then spent a while getting the fool to leave.

"I didn't expect the Tenseigan to save me from trouble, too. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have escaped getting the Caged Bird Seal." Hyuga Shin chuckled.

"Right. In their eyes, I'm a loser who doesn't even have the Byakugan. Why would they waste their time giving me some stupid Caged Bird Seal?"

Hyuga Shin had never considered revealing the secret of his Tenseigan. Even if he did, he'd wait until he could protect himself.

There was also the maniac Danzo in Konoha. Hyuga Shin didn't want to attract his attention.

And there was the scheming Black Zetsu in the Ninja World. Hyuga Shin didn't know whether Otsutsuki Hamura had the Tenseigan or if Black Zetsu knew it existed.

Still, it was best to be cautious. Black Zetsu might not look like he could fight, but he'd managed to kill Lord Madara, so he couldn't be underestimated.

He'd been alive in the Ninja World for over a thousand years. Who knew what tricks he had up his sleeve?

Right now, Hyuga Shin could only say he had an advantage at the start. He hadn't grown up yet, so he was still an ant.

If he revealed the Tenseigan, he wouldn't be able to protect it. The first ones to come after him would be the Hyuga Clan. Could they really resist the temptation of evolving the Byakugan?

So although people called him a loser, Hyuga Shin endured it all.

Before transmigrating, he'd been an adult, not a little kid. He could put up with this much.
