"What did you say? Are you looking down on my abilities? Let me tell you, I'm very capable." Yukiko Kudo said to Chen indignantly.
"Really? I honestly haven't seen what you're so good at."
That one sentence from Chen angered Yukiko Kudo so much that she stormed off. Judging by her expression, she probably would not speak to him for the entire day.
Early the next morning, Judy came to Chen's house to see him.
Chen was not surprised by Judy's arrival. He had been the one to tell her to come find him, so what was there to be surprised about?
Vermouth was somewhat surprised, though it was also within her expectations. It seemed Judy's hatred for her truly ran deep.
Judy shot Vermouth a cold glance. Her rationality kept her from attacking Vermouth the moment she saw her.
Judy turned her gaze toward Chen, the meaning in her eyes perfectly clear: I'm here.
"Ms. Judy, I didn't expect to see you at the house again," Akako Koizumi said to Judy.
Judy felt a little awkward when she saw Akako Koizumi, but she maintained her composure on the surface. She had some skill after all.
She was an agent, after all. If she could not remain calm, how could that possibly do?
"Let's talk outside."
With that, Chen took Judy out of the house. Ai Haibara frowned slightly, then asked Vermouth, "What are they going out for?"
"How would I know? If you want to find out, go follow them and see for yourself," Vermouth said blandly with a shrug.
Just as Ai Haibara was about to follow them out, she discovered that by the time she came outside, Chen and Judy had already driven away.
Ai Haibara returned to the house expressionlessly.
