Just as Yusaku Kudo was about to leave, he spotted Shin's car and halted.
Yusaku Kudo had actually come to find Shin, but he could not find him—Shin simply was not home.
So Yusaku Kudo had waited there. It was nearly dark, and he had been planning to come back tomorrow when Shin suddenly appeared.
"Could you wait a moment?" Yusaku Kudo stopped Shin and asked.
"What did you want to talk to me about?" Shin rolled down the window and looked at Yusaku Kudo indifferently.
"I wanted to talk about my son."
Naturally, Yusaku Kudo had come to see Shin because of his son, Shinichi Kudo.
"Your son, Shinichi Kudo? As long as he doesn't cause trouble for me, I won't bother with him."
Shin had no desire to deal with Shinichi Kudo—or rather, he could not be bothered to. Of course, if Shinichi Kudo kept prancing around in front of him, Shin would not mind giving him a slap to knock some sense into him.
Though that slap might make sure he never woke up again—one slap could kill him outright.
"Enough. If there's nothing else, I don't have time to talk with you. Move aside," Shin said flatly.
Yusaku Kudo took a deep breath. To be honest, he was furious. Anyone would have been; it felt as though the other party had no respect for him at all.
In truth, Yusaku Kudo's feeling was correct. Shin truly had no respect for him. Why would he need to show Yusaku Kudo any respect?
