Vermouth shot Chen an annoyed look. "If Yukiko would tell me, I wouldn't have come over to ask you what happened."

"Vermouth, your curiosity is pretty strong too, huh?" Chen couldn't help saying.

"Yeah, so what? Is that not allowed?" Vermouth asked Chen. Everyone had curiosity; what was wrong with hers being a little stronger?

"Nothing. But just because you're curious doesn't mean I'll tell you. So if you want to know, don't bother asking me."

Chen got to his feet and returned to his room.

Watching Chen leave, Vermouth froze for a moment, regret rising in her heart. She regretted not following along to take a look.

When they had gone shopping, Chen had invited Vermouth too. But she had not been interested at the time, so she had not gone with them. Thinking about it now, she felt a little regretful.

If she had gone shopping with them, perhaps she would have found out what exactly had happened.
