"Then what did you two do last night? You'd better come clean, or else... hehehe."
Ran Mouri's face turned so red it looked ready to bleed. How could she possibly explain something like that? Of course, she wasn't going to say anything.
Ran Mouri chose to remain silent, and Sonoko Suzuki wasn't surprised. If Ran Mouri had actually answered, Sonoko Suzuki would have wondered whether she had changed completely.
"No wonder you two were in such a hurry to leave yesterday. So that was why. If I'd kept you at my place, would you two not have gotten together?"
Sonoko Suzuki continued.
"Sonoko, can we please stop talking about this? And don't tell anyone," Ran Mouri urged Sonoko Suzuki.
"Don't worry, Ran. I know what I can say and what I can't. I absolutely won't say anything I shouldn't. Just relax."
Sonoko Suzuki assured Ran Mouri. She would never blab about things that shouldn't be said, especially private matters of that sort.
"Alright then, go to class. I'm done talking to you."
"Hey, you've forgotten your best friend now that you have a boyfriend."
Sonoko Suzuki couldn't help saying, but just as she was about to say more, the call was hung up.
She stomped her foot in frustration. Since when had Ran Mouri become so bold? No, when she saw Ran Mouri, she definitely had to question her properly.
Sonoko Suzuki still had so many questions waiting to be answered, yet Ran Mouri had hung up so quickly.
"You're done already? That was fast," Hyuga Shin said as he walked over to Ran Mouri.
"Were you secretly eavesdropping?" Ran Mouri asked, looking at him.
"Why would I need to eavesdrop? If I wanted to listen, I could do it openly. Why sneak around?" Hyuga Shin gave a light snort.
