Chen had already put her on his little blacklist. If she came to obstruct him again, she would probably really be dealt with badly.
So Vermouth wisely did not come looking for trouble.
Chen and Judy also spent the night smoothly together. When she woke up the next day, Judy's gaze had become somewhat complicated.
Looking to the side, Chen was not there, and she had no idea where he had gone.
"Don't tell me he ran off after getting what he wanted?" Anger and worry rose in Judy's heart.
Had she been abandoned? If she really had been abandoned, Judy felt like beating Chen to death.
But Judy was merely letting her imagination run wild. Not long after she woke up, Chen pushed open the door and walked in.
"You're awake. Want something to eat?" Chen asked Judy.
At Chen's question, Judy's stomach rumbled. She had not noticed before, but she really was a little hungry now.
"I do seem to be a little hungry." Judy embarrassedly touched her stomach, which was already growling.
She picked up the watch beside her and checked the time. It was already past one in the afternoon. No wonder she felt hungry.
"I actually slept that long." Judy found it hard to believe.
But after thinking about when she had gone to sleep last night, there was no need to be so surprised. After all, she had gone to bed far too late.
"So hurry up and get up to eat."
Chen spread his hands as he spoke to the flushed Judy.
Judy rolled her eyes at Chen and said, "Even if I'm getting up, shouldn't you leave first? I still need to get dressed."
"What's the problem? I don't mind at all." Chen smiled at Judy.
"You don't mind, but I do.
