Back then, they had just graduated from the Ninja Academy. If Konoha's situation on the battlefield grew dire, they might be sent to fight too. Whether they would survive would be anyone's guess.

Hyuga Shin needed to grow stronger as quickly as possible. In the Ninja World War, even the strength of an elite jonin was barely enough to keep himself alive.

Only someone at Kage Level could influence the outcome of a battle, so Shin wanted to reach Kage Level before the Second Shinobi World War began.

A ten-year-old at Kage Level sounded absurd, but it wasn't impossible for Shin. Itachi Uchiha had reached Kage Level strength at thirteen.

Shin had a monstrous Sage Body and greater talent than Itachi, so he was confident he could do it.

Chapter 12: Training Like His Life Depended on It

Shin left the Hyuga Clan and headed back to the mountain behind the village.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Shin formed Hand Seals and performed the technique.

With a puff, two identical copies of Shin appeared beside him.

"You, train in the Six Powers. You, study the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack and see if you can simplify it," Shin instructed them.

The Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack required Kekkei Mōra to use, and Kekkei Mōra required the fusion of all seven chakra natures.

Shin couldn't do that yet. He could only try to simplify the technique. Otherwise, he'd have to put it aside.

As for Shin himself, he began conditioning his body and developing ways to use the Glint-Glint Fruit.

Shadow Clones could speed up training, but they could only practice ninjutsu. They couldn't condition the body.

Only Shin himself could use the Glint-Glint Fruit. His Shadow Clones couldn't, as he had already tested.

"Fortunately, I've watched One Piece, so I can compare my techniques to Kizaru's. Developing the Glint-Glint Fruit shouldn't be too hard."

Half of Shin's body had already turned into light. He still couldn't transform his whole body into light, so he needed to keep practicing.

Still, Shin believed that in another couple of weeks, he would master the transformation. In this era, that would make him practically invincible.

Shin suspected that Truth-Seeking Orbs and Yin-Yang Release could counter the transformation. He just didn't know whether Senjutsu Chakra could.

The Rinnegan's gravitational force was another natural enemy of light.

But as long as the hidden Madara Uchiha didn't come after him, Shin would be practically invincible while transformed.

As he developed the Glint-Glint Fruit, Shin discovered that he could also activate it with chakra. The discovery delighted him.

"Laser!"

A beam of light shot forward, piercing several trees before striking a large boulder.

Boom! The man-sized boulder shattered into pieces.

"Tsk, tsk. That's powerful. Even Rasengan probably can't match it!" Shin smacked his lips as he looked at the damage.

If Shin gathered more photons, the attack's power would increase further.

"I wonder how strong Kizaru would be in the Naruto world," Shin mused.

He had no way of knowing for sure, but he guessed Kizaru would be at the early Super Kage level, definitely stronger than someone at Kage Level.

The old Third Hokage would absolutely be no match for Kizaru. That wasn't an attempt to belittle the Naruto world's fighters and inflate the One Piece world's.

Kizaru stood at the very top of the One Piece world. The only ones who could keep him in check were the Four Emperors, Garp, and the Five Elders. Even then, they could only hold him back. Could they really be certain they could take him down?

Based on Shin's estimates, Whitebeard was probably about as strong as Madara Uchiha without the Rinnegan. The Five Elders, Garp, and Kong were roughly on that level too.

Even if their strength were rated higher, they might only be able to fight Hashirama Senju using Senjutsu. They definitely couldn't defeat someone at Six Paths Level.

Looking at it that way, the One Piece world really did have a lot of powerful characters. Leaving aside those at Six Paths Level, One Piece could absolutely crush Naruto.

After training all morning, Shin collapsed on the ground like a dead dog. It took him half an hour of rest to recover.

Then he released the Shadow Clone Jutsu, and a wave of exhaustion washed over him. He could bear it, though. Two Shadow Clones were still within his limits.

After training for a while, Shin took out two cans of beef and the rations he had brought from home. He set them on a rock, then pulled out a Kunai.

He twirled it in his hand a couple of times and threw it. With Shin's immense strength behind it, the Kunai pierced through a tree and struck a rabbit grazing a hundred meters away.

He controlled gravity to pull the dead rabbit over, then expertly skinned it, started a fire, and threaded it onto a branch to roast.

Money was tight, so Shin often hunted for food. After doing it for so long, his roasting skills were better than anyone's.

After eating, Shin resumed his grueling training. This time, he made ten Shadow Clones. Three went to practice the Six Powers.

The rest all went to study the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.

Shin stopped developing the Glint-Glint Fruit and focused on conditioning his body instead.

He started with five hundred push-ups, then walked over to a tree so large that four people would have to join hands to circle its trunk. Shin began striking it, each punch and kick making it tremble.

The bark near the base of the tree had been completely stripped away, and it was marked with numerous fist and foot-shaped dents.

Ignoring the blood on his fists and the sweat on his face, Shin pushed himself through the punishing training.

Becoming strong wasn't easy. How could anyone succeed without shedding blood and sweat? Shin had always believed that you reaped what you sowed.

After another grueling day, evening finally came. Shin released his Shadow Clones and, fighting off his mental exhaustion, dragged his weary body toward home.

The red sunset lit Shin's silhouette. Though small and exhausted, he kept his back straight as he walked beneath the evening sky.

He dragged himself home, looking completely disheveled, but with a smile on his face.

He raised his hands. The places he had injured earlier had already healed completely. That was the monstrous aspect of a Sage Body.

Of course, many people possessed a Sage Body, but Hashirama Senju was the only one who had reached this level.

As for Otsutsuki Asura, Shin didn't know much about him. He supposed Asura might have been able to do it too.

After stretching, Shin took a shower, lay down on the bed, and closed his eyes to think.

He was wondering how he could get his hands on some ninjutsu. The system shop had every kind of technique, but they were too expensive. Shin couldn't afford them.

As for Chidori, the technique that transmigrators supposedly managed to create on their own, Shin hadn't memorized the Hand Seals.

Shin already had plenty of abilities, but there was no such thing as knowing too many skills.

"The Hyuga Clan may never use ninjutsu, but they can. It seems the clan must have some techniques of its own."

"But how can I get my hands on them?" Shin scratched his head in frustration.

"Come to think of it, the clan still hasn't sent me a Chakra Refinement Technique. Have they already given up on me completely?"
