Chen did not mind Yukiko coming with them. After all, when he spoke to Rena Mizunashi, he had never specified how many people would be going.
He had already agreed to let Ran come, so he did not mind agreeing to Yukiko as well.
"That's strange. You actually agreed to let me go?" Yukiko's face was filled with surprise and confusion, as though Chen agreeing was utterly unbelievable.
Yukiko left Chen speechless. What did she mean? Wasn't she the one who said she wanted to come along? Now that he had agreed, why was she making that expression?
"By the way, aren't you afraid that me going along will cause you some trouble?" Yukiko could not help asking.
"Trouble? I'm sure you haven't been thinking anything decent. What kind of trouble do you think you'd cause me?"
Chen shot Yukiko an annoyed look before asking her.
Besides, hadn't he already said that he had no such relationship with Rena Mizunashi, and that they were not making any sordid deal?
Had they never believed him all along? Chen felt a little stifled. Did they see him as someone who simply could not be trusted?
If that was the case, it was far too disheartening. Chen felt rather miserable.
"If that's how it is, then don't come after all. Save yourself from causing me trouble." Chen spoke irritably.
"Ahaha, don't be angry. I was only joking. I definitely want to go with you. Let's go." Yukiko hurriedly laughed it off.
"Where are we going now? You don't think we're going right now, do you? No, we'll go tomorrow."
Chen told Yukiko, and only then did she
