The person standing before Shin was someone very familiar to him—the famed Phantom Thief Kid. Oh, no, that was wrong. He should be called Kaito Kuroba. Shin had not expected him to come here.
"Kaito?" Aoko Nakamori was startled when she saw Kaito Kuroba. She had never expected the transfer student to be Kaito.

"Kaito, find a seat and sit down first," the teacher said to Kaito Kuroba.
Kaito Kuroba then went to sit diagonally behind Shin, in what had previously been Heiji Hattori's seat.
Heiji Hattori had practically made a home for himself in the hospital now, so naturally he had not come. Besides, Heiji Hattori had not attended school for a long time.
