"What exactly do you want?" Vermouth looked at Shin and asked.
"I don't want anything. You're my woman now, so just tell me if you need help with anything! I'll definitely help." Shin sat on the sofa, looking at Vermouth.
"No need. I'm not your woman either," Vermouth said flatly.
"If I say you are, then you are. You can't argue with that."
Vermouth glanced at Shin but said nothing more.
"The Organization gave me an order to kill a traitor who's been feeding them information," Vermouth said after a moment of silence.
"Oh! A traitor feeding them information? Don't tell me it's you?" Shin looked at Vermouth suspiciously.
If they were talking about traitors feeding information to outsiders, then the Black Organization had plenty of those—a whole bunch of traitors. He really didn't know how the Black Organization had managed to keep going.
Vermouth rolled her eyes and said, "He's an outer member of the Organization. He knows some intelligence about it, and lately he's been getting very close to the Japanese police. They suspect he's betrayed the Organization."
"Oh, you want me to help kill him?" Shin nodded lightly.
"That's right."
That guy had some skills, and there were many people protecting him. Vermouth wasn't confident, so she thought of Shin. She just hadn't expected to end up sacrificing herself in the process.
If Vermouth had known this would happen, she would never have come looking for Hyuga Shin, even if it killed her.
"Tell me his name and address. I'll take him out for you," Shin said to Vermouth.
Vermouth did not refuse. She would treat it as compensation from him.
"Let me rest for a day. I'll go with you." Vermouth leaned against the sofa and lit a cigarette.
"Sorry, I don't like the smell of
