Shin did not want any trouble, so the only person who truly knew that he had killed those robbers was Conan.

Ran ran to the elevator and pressed the button, but there was no response. She could only run upstairs via the stairwell.

"Ran, wait for me!" Kogoro Mouri staggered after her, while Inspector Megure and the other officers followed as well.

"How could there be corpses here? What happened?" Inspector Megure asked in alarm.

Inspector Megure ordered several officers to stay behind and guard the bodies, then drew his pistol and ran upstairs.
