"Hmph. Once I get the information I want, I'll make you pay. You'll repay me twice over," Chikage Kuroba thought furiously.
If she had not been so desperate to learn the cause of Toichi Kuroba's death, she would never have come here to sell her charms and suffer through this.
Chen smiled faintly and praised her. "Miss Chikage, you really can hold your liquor. But aren't you feeling a little dizzy now?"
Chikage Kuroba shook her head. She really did feel a little lightheaded. She looked at Chen in confusion, but the strange smile on his face gave her a bad feeling.
"Feeling dizzy is only right. I put something in the wine, so how could you not feel dizzy?" Chen said mildly.
"What? You actually drugged the wine?" Panic flashed through Chikage Kuroba's eyes.
She might have come here prepared to use her looks, but she had never intended to lose her chastity. She tried to struggle to her feet, but how could she possibly break free from Chen's arm?
"Miss Chikage, what are you doing?"
"Let go of me. Let go of me right now!" Chikage Kuroba shouted coldly at Chen.
"I was just joking with you. Why are you getting so worked up?" Chen released Chikage Kuroba and spread his hands.
"Miss Chikage, you probably haven't had hard liquor before, have you? Drinking a whole glass so suddenly and feeling lightheaded afterward is perfectly normal."
"Besides, I didn't even touch the bottle. You didn't really think I had drugged it, did you?"
Come to think of it, that was true. Chikage Kuroba had not expected this man to be so nasty that he would actually trick her by claiming he had drugged the drink.
