"I don't know either. Anyway, Yusaku Kudo brought him home." Yukiko Kudo shook her head. She did not know where Yusaku Kudo had brought Shinichi Kudo back from.
Although Shinichi Kudo was not her biological son, after raising him for so many years, she had come to regard him as her own.
"You look like you don't believe what I'm saying?" Yukiko Kudo said as she looked at the astonished expression on Chen's face.
"No, it's not that I don't believe you. You have no reason to lie to me."
It was not that Chen did not believe Yukiko Kudo. He was merely surprised by such explosive news.

"I've only told you." Yukiko Kudo said to Chen.

"Your reaction seems rather flat."
Yukiko Kudo frowned as she looked at Chen. Though he had appeared quite shocked at first, after that initial surprise, his reaction had become far too calm.
"No, I was already shocked. Honestly, I really was surprised just now. It felt hard to believe." Chen perfunctorily replied to Yukiko Kudo.
Yukiko Kudo pursed her lips. She could tell that Chen was brushing her off, but she did not call him out on it.
"But why are you telling me all this, Yukiko?" Chen asked, looking at her.
"It's nothing. I just wanted to find someone to talk to." Yukiko Kudo gently shook her head.
"Then you've finished talking, right? So I won't disturb you any longer." With that, Chen stood up and left.
"Hey, hey, are you really just leaving me alone in the living room?" Yukiko Kudo watched Chen leave, feeling rather annoyed. With a personality like his, how could he possibly have women around him?
