Kekkei Genkai

When Lin Chuan opened his eyes again, they had transformed from their original white-on-white appearance into the Tenseigan: sky-blue, with silver flashes glinting within. His veins had not bulged, yet large amounts of Senjutsu Chakra surged into them.

Looking around again, Lin Chuan found that his field of vision had expanded considerably, reaching a range of two kilometers. After scanning the area and finding no particular danger, he slowly closed his eyes.

When he opened them again, his eyes had returned to their ordinary Byakugan form. Lin Chuan turned to look at Qin Lang and Bu Lianshi. Even now, the two of them still seemed dazed, as though they could hardly believe that Lin Chuan, who should have been the weakest member of their team, had become so powerful that they could only watch him from afar.

Lin Chuan offered no explanation. "Stay here and don't wander off. I've already checked the area. There's no danger nearby. I have something to take care of, but I'll be right back!"

"Ah... Oh... Okay! Be careful!" Qin Lang came back to his senses and nodded.

Bu Lianshi also gave Lin Chuan a slight nod, but she was curious about his claim that he had already checked the area. What did he mean, he'd already checked? Could he see the dangers around them?

Even Bu Lianshi couldn't stand his chatter. With a helpless look, she turned to gaze elsewhere and deliberately moved farther from Qin Lang—and from Lin Chuan, too. Since they'd started walking, Qin Lang had practically been glued to Lin Chuan's side, never leaving him alone for a moment!

"By the way, what was that fist technique of yours called? It looked so soft and weak, like you had no strength at all, but it was incredibly powerful. You took down three experts at the third level of Qi Refining in an instant. Could you teach it to me, too? I swear I won't let it slip!" Qin Lang said solemnly, his face full of hope.

"My fist technique is called Gentle Fist. It requires a special Kekkei Genkai to use, so you won't be able to learn it," Lin Chuan said helplessly.

"Generally speaking, a Kekkei Genkai is an ability inherited through one's bloodline. Take me, for example. You've both noticed that my eyes are different from other people's, but you don't know that they have different abilities, too!"

"How are they different?" Qin Lang had long suspected there was something unusual about Lin Chuan's eyes. Now he stared at those white eyes with even greater curiosity.
