Background / History

Three years before the Hundred Sects Tournament, Yue Hua was a frail girl rescued from bandits at the foot of Qingyun Mountain by Su Han. She retained the memory of his intervention and later sought to repay the debt after learning that the Corrosive Heart Sword Sect was targeting him 684 687.

She initially appeared publicly as an unaffiliated rogue cultivator. At the tournament, she won nine consecutive matches on Stage Four before challenging Su Han on Stage Five; their restrained spar ended in a draw after fifty exchanges 686. She later revealed her identity to him, warned him about the Corrosive Heart Sword Sect, and gave him the Moon God Pendant for protection 687.

Yue Hua was subsequently revealed as one of Qingyun Sect's three Supreme Elders and Su Han's senior martial sibling. At the time, she was a peak Nascent Soul cultivator in seclusion, regarded as one of the Eastern Region's likeliest experts to enter the Deity Transformation stage 716.

When Su Han was consumed by the Chaos Demonic Seed, Yue Hua used moonlight to purify him temporarily and concealed his survival.
