For a while, Lude had suspected that this body of his suffered from some form of impaired color vision.
But later, he realized that was not the case.
This body's ability to distinguish colors was far better than his had been in his previous life.
It was the vision of an Ancient Dragon, capable of seeing colors that mortals could not—and should not—see.
His soul simply, instinctively interpreted those colors beyond mortal comprehension as colors he had seen before.
His soul was not strong enough to support his glimpses of those colors.
If he had never seen them, his vision should have been normal.
Yet when he first arrived in this world, he had caught a glimpse of its most vivid shade of red.
Even in the boundless darkness of night, he could find that color.
Lude drew a deep breath, took two steps forward, then stopped again.
He hesitated for a moment, tore off his coat, and took a finely tailored trench coat from the Glazed Pouch to change into.
