Background
Feng Xiaotian was recognized as Godwind Academy's strongest younger-generation student. His Innate Full Soul Power and mutated Gale Two-Headed Wolf martial soul gave him exceptional speed, attack, defense, and aerial-combat potential. Rather than advancing his Soul Power as quickly as possible, he spent years refining his self-created Gale Demon Wolf Consecutive Slash. 9 20
At the Three Academy Exchange Tournament, Godwind Academy deliberately lost to Blazing Fire Academy so that Feng Xiaotian could challenge Skywater Academy's Shui Bing'er in a fair one-on-one match. He regarded a team battle as less meaningful because his side held a substantial advantage and wanted to test himself against her at full strength. 17
Personality
Feng Xiaotian is highly confident in his talent and combat ability, at times to the point of arrogance. He initially challenged Shui Bing'er despite sacrificing his academy's team advantage, and later dismissed Shrek Academy before proposing a winner-takes-all duel with Tang San. 17 136 137
His confidence is supported by genuine discipline and combat awareness. After losing to Shui Bing'er, he accepted the result and resolved to cultivate seriously. By the later tournament, he sought advice rather than relying solely on pride, carefully using aerial range, feints, and attrition tactics against Tang San. 21 22 116 137 140
Abilities & Skills
Gale Two-Headed Wolf Martial Soul
Feng Xiaotian possesses a mutated beast martial soul with wind and strength attributes.
- Provides strong speed, offense, and defense. 9 18
- Its wind attribute is not inherently disadvantaged against ice. 9
- Enables aerial combat through his third soul skill, allowing him to attack from changing angles and maintain distance from ground-bound opponents. 19 138
Wind Blade Array
His first soul skill releases multiple semicircular wind blades from his wolf claws.
- Covers a broad area and can cut off an opponent's escape routes. 18
- Can be launched from multiple aerial angles while using Gale Wings. 19
- Was used as long-range pressure and bait against Tang San. 138 140
Twin Wolf Possession
A strengthening soul skill that merges the phantom of the two-headed wolf into Feng Xiaotian's body.
- Increases his attack, defense, and agility by fifty percent. 18
- Enhances the power of his Wind Blade Array. 18
- Allowed him to forcibly break free after being frozen during his duel with Shui Bing'er. 20
Gale Wings
Feng Xiaotian's third soul skill creates large azure energy wings.
- Grants high-speed flight and sustained aerial positioning. 19 138
- Allows rapid evasive maneuvers and attacks from outside many ground fighters' range. 19 137
- The wings are formed from Soul Power rather than physical wings or a soul bone. 138 139
Gale Demon Wolf Consecutive Slash
Feng Xiaotian's self-created soul skill is his principal finishing technique. His wings fuse with his arms to form enormous wind blades, enabling a sequence of increasingly powerful slashes. 20
- Each consecutive strike increases both speed and attack power. 20 21
- Reached twenty-seven consecutive slashes during his duel with Shui Bing'er. 20
- Later advanced to thirty-six consecutive slashes. 116
- Was powerful enough to let him challenge opponents above his level and defeat four-ring Soul Ancestors. 21
- Against Tang San, he concealed the true technique behind ordinary wind-blade pressure, forcing Tang San to accumulate the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer before striking when Tang San's strength was exhausted. 140 141
Relationships
- Shui Bing'er — Rival and respected fellow genius. Feng Xiaotian forfeited Godwind Academy's team advantage for a one-on-one duel with her, lost after unveiling his twenty-seven consecutive slashes, and later acknowledged her exceptional growth. 17 20 21 116
- Huo Wu — Girlfriend. Her demand that he obtain his fifth soul ring before the Soul Master Tournament motivated him to focus on cultivation; they were a couple by the tournament preliminaries. 116
- Huo Wushuang — Fellow elemental-academy competitor and Huo Wu's brother. The two discussed Shui Bing'er's strength and later received her warning about Shrek Academy. 18 117
- Tang San — Tournament rival. Feng Xiaotian challenged him to a decisive one-on-one match, used his aerial advantage to control the fight, and won through tactical use of Gale Demon Wolf Consecutive Slash. 136 138 140 141
- Xu Feng — Secret adviser while Xu Feng was acting through Shui Bing'er's body. Xu Feng informed Feng Xiaotian about Tang San's abilities and helped him devise the strategy used in their duel. 137 138
Story Role / Major Arcs
Three Academy Exchange Tournament
Feng Xiaotian arranged a one-on-one duel with Shui Bing'er after Godwind Academy intentionally lost to Blazing Fire Academy. He countered her control with his physical strength, used Gale Wings to seize the air, and revealed his Gale Demon Wolf Twenty-Seven Consecutive Slash when her External Soul Bone removed his aerial advantage. 17 18 19 20
Despite bringing the skill to its final strike, he was defeated when Shui Bing'er condensed her phoenix feathers into a giant ice blade. He accepted the loss and was advised to stop suppressing his Soul Power and cultivate diligently. 21 22
Soul Master Tournament
By the Heaven Dou preliminaries, Feng Xiaotian had become a Rank 51 Soul King with a ten-thousand-year soul ring. His speed and sharp Gale Blades led Godwind Academy to its eleventh victory and handed Thunderclap Academy captain Yu Tianxin his first defeat. 116 123
During the advancement matches, Feng Xiaotian challenged Shrek Academy to settle the result through a single duel against Tang San. After receiving tactical guidance from Xu Feng through Shui Bing'er, he stayed airborne, used wind blades to force Tang San into revealing and overextending the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer, then defeated him with the thirty-third slash of his Gale Demon Wolf Consecutive Slash. 137 138 140 141
