• Xu Shi captured Gu Yi, forced her to help track Spark’s hackers, and sent Su Lin’s team to kill Zhou Xi and seize Spark’s equipment.
• Xu Shi turned Xia Wuyou against Spark by offering medical care for her aunt, and she killed Chen Fang during the ambush on Serpent Coil’s convoy.
• Xu Shi arranged care for Xia Ke'an and discovered Jiang Chengcheng had been abused and exploited by Jiang Fengshan, then began investigating Serpent Coil’s failing Engineering Department.
• Xu Shi appointed Gu Yi head of the Technical Department and moved her into his villa after learning that Lin Wenhua had sent an assassin to kill her.
• Xu Shi rejected Tang Shuang’s demand for compensation over Spark’s attack and sent relief supplies to District Seven while planning to counter Spark and Lin Wenhua.
• Shark Tooth asked Shen He to steal Sea Crane drone prototypes from Serpent Coil’s District 13 warehouse, and Shen He sent Lei Song to lead Spark’s raid.
• Xu Shi alerted Tang Shuang to Spark’s planned attack, and the Inspection Bureau arrived during the raid and opened fire after Lei Song refused to surrender.

Xu Shi weakened Spark and maneuvered Jiang Chengcheng into his service while the conflict between Shark Tooth’s heirs escalated. The arc left Xia Wuyou working with Xu Shi, Black Rabbit striking Prism’s hospitals, and Xu Shi turning his attention to Xie Qingyan and He Yuxia.

• Xia Wuyou rescued Lei Song and a Spark member, while Shen He hid the Sea Crane from Young Master He and Xu Shi used the deception to sow distrust between Shen He and He Yuqiang.
• Su Lin abducted Luo Zhikang and the Sea Crane, and Xu Shi imprisoned Luo and recruited Jiang Chengcheng to study the drone and develop Tianhe’s Overlimit Project.
• He Yuqiang attacked Spark’s stronghold, but Shen He persuaded him that Xu Shi might have misled him before a gunshot pierced He Yuqiang’s ear and turned him against Shen He.
• Tang Shuang and Ning Wei arrested Jiang Fengshan, and Xu Shi later forced Jiang Chengcheng to confront him, where she beat him to death and pledged herself to Xu Shi.
• Su Lin reunited with Jiang Chengcheng, while Xu Shi visited the wounded He Yuqiang and began linking the attack to Xie Qingyan’s plans to weaken Shark Tooth.

Xu Shi strengthened Serpent Coil by Re-Ascending, drawing Xie Qingyan into a project partnership and making a deal with Ding Jun against Disgu. He released Lin Yue and recruited leverage over his rivals, while Lin Yue tried to rebuild Spark and found a modified girl marked with a hexagram.

• Xu Shi Re-Ascended with Heng Wo, gaining an A-class ability and learning that Disgu had grown stronger after Spark joined it.
• Lin Yue rejected Shen He’s alliance with Disgu, left Spark, and set out to kill Xu Shi, who captured and experimented on her before releasing her.
• Xia Wuyou brought Xu Shi a captured assassin linked to Lin Wenhua, and Xu Shi used the woman’s modification to prepare a weapon against him.
• Xu Shi and Xie Qingyan agreed to cooperate on the Overlimit Project, though Xie Qingyan remained wary of his plans for Shark Tooth.
• Ye Shanshan discovered Xu Shi’s plan concerning Xie Qingyan and broke into his office, where Xu Shi caught and punished her.

Xu Shi used the Overlimit Project launch to lure Shen He into a failed rescue, then took control of District Six while Lin Yue uncovered Disgu’s records. As Serpent Coil’s Gemini chips drew new enemies and allies, Xu Shi grew closer to Gu Yi and Xia Wuyou, and Xia Ke'an left him weighing his responsibilities.

• Lin Yue sheltered Lin Xing after learning Xu Shi had modified her, and Lin Xing revealed that Luo Zhikang had been alive during her surgery.
• Xu Shi and Xie Qingyan launched the Overlimit Project as Shen He planned to use the event to rescue Luo Zhikang and pursue the Enhancement Chip.
• At the launch reception, Lei Song’s attack diverted attention while Shen He entered the facility and found Luo Zhikang, but Xu Shi revealed the rescue was a trap.
• Xia Wuyou rejected Shen He and defeated him, while Xu Shi’s forces killed the remaining intruders and learned Shen He had taken control of Disgu.
