Mobius gritted her teeth. "I know, I know! Isn't this not the time to talk about that? Besides, why do you care about the two of us?"

The magnetic field fluctuated slightly, and everyone looked out the window. A massive warship was slowly descending.

"Yo, Gray Serpent." Raven plopped down beside the motionless masked figure. "When you disappeared before, I thought that after the Venerable Lord vanished, you'd left World Serpent too. What are you back for now?"

"I merely went to prepare some necessary things."

The red eyes behind Gray Serpent's mask swept across Schicksal's floating fortress.

"Since the Stigmata Project has been terminated, the materials and devices prepared by World Serpent will all be used for this collaboration, including Hare."

"...Are you serious? I thought you cared even more about the Stigmata Project than the Venerable Lord did, yet you're handing everything over so generously?"

"I do not care about the Stigmata Project. All I care about is saving the world. That person can be the Venerable Lord, or any one of the Thirteen Heroes. Humanity needs a leader, and now humanity is its own leader. Perhaps ordinary people still cannot move forward through the river of history on their own, but humanity will eventually grow up. Forcing its growth may not be the best method."
