Kiana blushed. Though she was no longer an innocent little girl after doing this and that, she still had some sense of shame.

"I checked Mei's consciousness. There was nothing abnormal, so the problem should lie with Lin. Someone with stronger mind-control abilities than mine may have done something to him." A flash of crimson passed through Aponia's eyes. "But the effect only happened once. They couldn't have affected Lin's consciousness too deeply."

"So now, all we can do is let Lin and Mobius resolve the knot between them?"

"I'll have Mobius come here. After that, we only need to create a relatively enclosed environment. They'll work it out themselves."

Back in the present, the two of them stared intently at the Moon Base. After cutting off the oxygen, they had thought the two would quickly untangle their feelings within the limited time available. Mei could only helplessly accompany them.

She touched her stomach, her emotions incredibly complicated.

Had her mother felt the same way back then? And what had her father, Raiden Ryoma, thought...

"Huh?"

Kiana tilted her head and made a strange sound.

"What... are they doing?"

"Here."

Lin opened an emergency compartment in the wall, took out a spacesuit, tossed it to Mobius, and helped her put it on.

The spacesuit was a contingency beyond contingencies. The researchers at the Moon Base were among Earth's best; even with Kevin and Kiana stationed there, every possible precaution had been taken. They just hadn't expected Mobius to be the one who would ultimately use it.

Once they had suited up, the two leaned lazily against the wall again, going nowhere as they continued talking about the past, as though what was happening now could not stop them from reminiscing.

Lin did not even mention finding Kiana and the
