Amid the continuous thunderous blasts, all sorts of noisy shouts rang out without end.
When Steve Rogers, Thor, and the others arrived near the Leviathan warship Tony Stark was facing, this was the scene that greeted them.
A motley crew in bizarre outfits was continuously pouring firepower onto the Leviathan. Some were even trying to climb onto it, shouting and swearing all the while. They looked exactly like a ragtag mob, like a swarm of ants gnawing on an elephant.
"Hey, brothers, follow my rhythm. I'm the raid leader now. All DPS, focus fire and listen to my commands. MTs, hold back the boarding troops!"
What made their faces go dark even more was that Tony Stark was strangely in sync with this crowd. While controlling the Medium Assault Armor to smash wildly at the Leviathan, he was also directing everyone. Quite a few unmanned suits controlled by Ultron were flying around nearby as well.
"Why does this feel like we're fighting a boss?"
Natasha quipped.
"Fighting a boss? What does that mean?"
Steve Rogers looked confused.
"Uh... gaming terminology, Captain. Looks like you need to catch up on some modern common knowledge."
Other than Thor, everyone else was rendered speechless.
Just then, some Players noticed their arrival as well.
The Players were no longer weak. In terms of physical fitness alone, many of them had already far surpassed Steve Rogers. They simply lacked his overpowered shield and combat skills, so they could not fight anyone evenly. Being slightly distracted in battle did not affect them much.
