"Skynet, apply to Miss Pandora for the allocation of twenty percent of its computing power."
"Application approved. Computing power allocated..."
Suspended in midair, Max's eyes had already turned a deep seabed blue as he communicated internally with Skynet, which was temporarily serving as an auxiliary intelligence.
Max still retained that glowing blue, half-energy, half-flesh form, but he now stood over three meters tall, covered in a layer of dark-blue metal armor.
A closer look revealed that the armor was not a single whole, but rather formed from countless diamond-shaped metal pieces as thick as little fingers.
"Activate Electromagnetic Heart drive. Connect to the radio network. Begin drawing energy. Enable auxiliary computation..."
A string of commands was issued through thought. More and more electricity gathered, and by the time the originally invisible radio-grid transmission reached Max, it had turned into thick, twisting bolts of lightning.
All the lightning interwove around Max, forming an intricate web. The energy gathered within it made even Thor, the God of Thunder below, feel his scalp tingle, prompting him to retreat a considerable distance.
Yet the energy continued to gather.
After such a long period of planning, the Stein Group's radio network had long since spread across numerous countries. Countless power plants around the world had reached agreements with the Stein Group, allowing it to freely draw energy for supply—of course, for a price.
As more and more electrical energy gathered around him, Max's body rapidly swelled as he absorbed it. The Lightning King Armor that had originally covered his entire body had broken down into diamond-shaped particles, embedded all over him like gemstones.
Five meters...
Ten meters...
Twenty meters...
Twenty-five meters!
At last, Max stopped growing at twenty-five meters. Hovering in the air, he had become a lightning giant seven or eight stories tall, blotting
