When Li Si arrived at the company, he parted ways with Max and headed alone to the Underground Laboratory.
After exchanging a few greetings with the coworkers he knew along the way, he went straight to the Individual Armor Project Department.
The laboratory belonging to the Individual Armor Project Department was already bustling. Everyone else had arrived early and was busy with their own work.
Although Li Si had proposed the Super-Large War Weapon plan, all he had done was sketch out a rough concept and suggest a direction for the research. He had left the rest of the foundational work to Otto Gunther, Nolan, and the others, with each of them responsible for a different part.
Originally, he hadn't planned to do any research at Oscorp at all. He'd already resigned himself to sitting on the sidelines. After all, even if they developed something, the technology patents would belong to Oscorp.
But then he thought about it: he was going to make a move against Osborn anyway, and the rights to all those patents would eventually end up in his hands. Besides, this wasn't something they could research in a short time, so he hadn't given it much thought.
For now, he could use Oscorp's funds to research all kinds of technology and earn a hefty amount of experience along the way. If he waited until he took over Oscorp, even if the research succeeded, he wouldn't have access to such abundant funding.
"Good morning, Mr. Lee Stein."
When they saw Li Si come in, the others looked up and greeted him before returning to their work.
"Hm? Dr. Octopus, where's Luna? Isn't she coming in today?"
After nodding to each of them in reply, Li Si glanced around. When he didn't see Luna, he
