"We were wrong! Please let us go!" the four thugs begged from the ground.
"Don't let them go! Their gang killed my parents, and they even—" Inoue Muko cried angrily from where she was curled up on the ground nearby.
"I know. They sent you to a nightclub, drove your company into bankruptcy, and even caused your new boyfriend to run off with your jewelry."
"Am I right, Inoue Muko?" Tang Shizhe looked down at her and smiled faintly. Unfortunately, he was wearing a mask, so all that effort he'd put into his expression had gone to waste.
"Who are you?" Inoue Muko gasped and hurriedly shrank back toward the wall. She hadn't expected that, after getting rid of the wolves, she'd now have a tiger to deal with.
"I'm here to help you." As Tang Shizhe spoke, he pulled apart the handle of his umbrella, revealing a fine needle embedded inside it.
Tang Shizhe quickly pricked each of the four thugs in the neck.
"What did you do?" the four thugs, now collapsed helplessly on the ground, shouted at Tang Shizhe in terror. He'd moved so quickly that they hadn't even reacted before he'd pricked them. Who knew whether the needle contained poison or something else?
"Shh. Don't speak. Just focus on what you're feeling." Tang Shizhe raised a finger to his lips in a shushing gesture.
Before long, confusion filled the four thugs' eyes.
"Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?" The four thugs stared at one another blankly.
"What did you do to them?" Inoue Muko asked fearfully.
"Just a drug that damages the synapses in their brains. It'll break down on its own in ten minutes, and no one will be able to tell how they were turned into idiots." Tang Shizhe gave
