In the underground laboratory of Titan Environmental, a group of Splitters responsible for biological and genetic research had gathered around a test bench in the center of the lab.
A sealed glass container filled with liquid sat on the bench. Inside it was a Purification Tree, fifty centimeters tall.
Surrounded by the Splitters, Tang Shizhe gently stroked the outside of the glass container.
"How's the work coming along?" Tang Shizhe asked, turning to the Splitters.
"It's finished. We've adjusted its genetic code, and this Purification Tree can now transmit information, at least in a rudimentary way." Tang Eleven handed the tablet in his hands to Tang Shizhe.
The idea of giving the Purification Tree the ability to collect and transmit information had originally come from Tang Shizhe. But at the time, the Splitters' knowledge of biology and genetics was too limited to bring all his ideas to life.

But its leaves could record the vibrations in the air caused by sound, then transmit that information through special resonance to a Mother Tree that received the signals. The Mother Tree would convert them into electromagnetic signals and feed them into a computer.
