Background / History

After Yu Xiaogang left Martial Soul Hall, Liu Erlong met him and Flender. The three could perform a Martial Soul Fusion Skill and became known as the Golden Iron Triangle. When Flender confessed his feelings, Liu Erlong rejected him and openly chose Yu Xiaogang; with Flender’s support, she and Yu Xiaogang prepared to marry. Their wedding was stopped by her father, Yu Luomian, after their close blood relationship was exposed, and Yu Xiaogang fled. 27

Still deeply attached to Yu Xiaogang years later, Liu Erlong immediately set out for Heaven Dou Royal Academy after learning that Su Ye’s Diary might reveal his whereabouts. 17 The Diary’s disclosures gradually shattered her view of him: she recognized his cowardice, questioned whether their relationship had been built only on bloodline and their Martial Soul Fusion Skill, and bitterly noted that he had run away from her as well. 26
