Background / History

Watson first treats Ye Yan after Ye collapses from depleted Soul Essence. He explains the basic nature of Soul Essence and reveals that he was asked by an unnamed “respected elder” to look after Ye, though he refuses to identify the requester. 2

During Holmes's inquiry into Ye's apparent resurrection, Watson urges discretion and objects to Holmes confronting a child with the suspected truth of the original body's suicide attempt. 4 He later accompanies Holmes and the authorities against the Sunset Church, serving as both a combatant and emergency medic. 13 14

Following the Red Lion Street incident, Watson helps evacuate those endangered by Pastor Austin's transformation and returns to save additional victims despite the Abomination's influence. He ultimately finds the incapacitated Ye and Holmes and carries them out of the church. 15
