Yun Jingheng was almost at the outer perimeter of the East City Grain Depot.

The night was as dark as undissolved ink, with only a few shops along the street still dimly lit.

He was pressed against the wall of a narrow alley when Half-Sweet Coffee's voice suddenly rose in the earpiece. "Master, a large number of lights have suddenly lit up in the direction of the Ye Family Estate. The sentries on the east and west sides have moved simultaneously. They have transmitted shortwave signals."

Yun Jingheng didn't stop walking, only asking, "Who is the signal sent to?"

"Both the East City Grain Depot and the Heaven Dou City patrol routes have been alerted. It's a warning. Miss Ye hasn't evacuated yet," said Half-Sweet Coffee.

Where are the people Ye Xingmo brought?

"The two locations outside the Ye Family have been cleared, but the signal has been transmitted. Several vehicles are starting up in the direction of the East City Grain Depot."

Yun Jingheng looked up.

The gray-tiled roof of the grain store was just twenty feet away; he hadn't originally planned to attack it now.

The original plan was to wait at least half a quarter of an hour after Ye Xinglan and his men left the Ye Family before making a move.

We can't wait any longer.

The signal has been sent out. Once the grain store people are mobilized, the small road north of the Ye Family will be blocked. He cannot let those cars drive out of the alley.

"A few cars came out of the back alley, and which gate did they exit from?" Yun Jingheng asked.

"Three cars. No lights on. They were all reversing in the back alley, heading towards the old east gate of the city, then turning southeast. They were going to the Ye Family."

"Knew."

Yun Jingheng closed his eyes briefly, and when he opened them again, the moonlight deep within his pupils was no longer concealed.

He loosened his sleeve and stepped out of the alley.

The Dark Moon Concealment was instantly dispelled.

Her whole being seemed to emerge from the darkness of the night, gradually outlined by the moonlight, her features becoming clearer and clearer.

He looked up; the moon hung in the east, large and cold.

He slowly raised his hand, and moonlight gathered in his palm, forming the Moonlight Sword.

"Good, evil," he whispered.

The moonlight behind me split in two.

Good Corpse and Evil Corpse emerge from nothingness.

The Good Corpse had lowered eyebrows and eyes, its entire body was silver-white, and its aura was as pure as the first snow.

The Evil Corpse was dressed in jet black, its sword a dark red, and the killing intent in its eyes was almost tangible. Yun Jingheng didn't turn around, only saying, "Did you hear everything?"

"Naturally," said the Good Corpse.

"Then kill them," said the Evil Corpse.

Yun Jingheng glanced at the three cars and suddenly smiled.

It was very light and very cold.

"Since they want to see, let them see to their heart's content." He leaped forward and rushed towards the back alley of the grain store.

The Good Corpse and the Evil Corpse stood on his left and right, like two beams of moonlight closely following him.

The two guards at the alley entrance had just heard the commotion and hadn't even turned around when they were swept away by the Evil Corpse's sword.

The sword, carrying a Red Moon, struck the stone wall, causing the plaster to crumble.

Yun Jingheng stepped past them and onto the first car in the backyard of the grain store.

A section of the car roof collapsed with a loud crash.

Before anyone could get out of the car, he stepped on it, causing the entire vehicle to tilt to the side.

Yun Jingheng bent down and unleashed a Crescent Slash through the front window.

The crescent-shaped sword light sliced the carriage in half, and two members of the Holy Spirit Cult tumbled and crawled out.

The Good Corpse joined in from the side, and two Moonlight Chains wrapped around the ankles of one of them. The cold air rushed up the chains, and the person was instantly frozen in half of his body.

All three cars are in the alley.

"The first one is totaled," said Half-Sweet Coffee. "The second one is reversing. The third one is stuck."

Yun Jingheng didn't turn around, but took two steps towards the alley entrance.

The phase of the moon on his body was changing.

The frost on the sword gradually faded, and the moonlight grew even fuller.

Full Moon: All attacks deal additional true damage.

He raised his hand, and the sword's light suddenly grew three zhang (approximately 10 meters) long, illuminating the entire back alley.

Several people jumped out of the second car, and the light made them unable to open their eyes.

Yun Jingheng moved swiftly, appearing directly in front of one of them.

The Moonlight Sword slashed horizontally, carrying the brilliance of the Full Moon. The sword's edge sliced through the person's protective Soul Power, causing a series of true injuries to explode.

The person was sent flying backwards, crashing through a wooden wall.

"The third car is turning around!" Half-Sweet Coffee reminded.

The Good Corpse moved, and its phase of the moon changed to New Moon.

As the chains swayed, countless tiny points of light enveloped the third car.

The car had only turned halfway when the person inside suddenly froze, slowing their movements by a beat.

The Evil Corpse had already skimmed along the ground, and with a flick of its black blade upwards, it severed the axle.

The train carriage overturned with a loud crash, sending up clouds of dust.

The Evil Corpse landed beside the car, and the blood-red moon suddenly shone brightly.

He carried his sword and walked step by step toward the person who crawled out from behind the carriage.

With each step he took, the blood-red light behind him intensified.

He didn't attack, but instead plunged his sword into the wreckage beneath the car, the blood gushing out like waves, drowning out the screams of the people on the ground.

Yun Jingheng did not go to see it.

He turned around and faced the main entrance of the grain store.

People came out of there, a lot of them.

A dense chorus of footsteps rose from underground. "Master," said Half-Sweet Coffee, "People are pouring out of the grain store. They're not chasing the cart anymore; their target is you."

"Perfect, since we've decided to tear off the mask of civility." Yun Jingheng switched the moon phase back to Crescent Moon, and frost spread across his sword.

He took a step forward to face the surging crowd.

"Then tonight, I'll make sure they can't go anywhere."

The Good Corpse and the Evil Corpse raised their heads simultaneously.

Three beams of moonlight, three layers of murderous intent, turned this dirtiest and darkest alley in the east of the city into a silvery fire.

The main entrance of the grain store was smashed open from the inside.

More than a dozen figures emerged from underground, all dressed in gray and black, wielding short blades and Soul Tool Gun. Their movements were extremely fast, like a combined attack formation that had been practiced countless times.

Half-Sweet Coffee's voice stood out clearly amidst the noise. "Master, there are even more people underground in the grain store; they're gathering in the upward passage. There's a heat source reaction underground, and their numbers exceed sixty."

Yun Jingheng did not retreat; the sword flower spun in his hand.

In the first circle, the sword energy spread out like a crescent moon; in the second circle, the dust in the entire alley was blown to both sides; in the third circle, the people rushing out from the opposite side seemed to crash into an invisible wall, and the three people in the front row were directly thrown away.

He began to walk forward, the wind from his sword scraping shallow marks on the ground around him.

Each sword strike carried the frosty essence of Crescent Moon; enemies struck were either sliced through their defenses or slowed down by the frost.

The two men in the last row had just raised their Soul Tool Gun, their fingers not yet ready to pull the trigger, when they were pinned to the door by two sword energies that seemed to penetrate the wall.

"The left side is all mine," the Evil Corpse said first.

He dragged his sword as he walked, the tip scraping the ground and making a very sharp, faint sound.

The Blood Moon was fully revealed.

He ducked low and pounced into the crowd on the left like a dark red lightning bolt.

With each strike of his sword, the movements of those men slowed down; with each person he struck, he became faster.

The Blood Moon Curse tore at their wounds.

The Evil Corpse made no unnecessary movements; every sword strike was aimed at vital points.

A middle-aged man who appeared to be the leader of the crowd roared, activated his full Soul Power to protect himself, and swung his sword in a counterattack.

The Evil Corpse neither dodged nor avoided, but instead charged straight into the flash of blades. A sword pierced the man's chest, lifting him up and slamming him behind it.

The Blood Moon shone brightly, instantly draining the life force from that body.

The Evil Corpse stood in the center of the crowd, its black clothes soaked in blood, its eyes even colder than before.

"Leave the right side to me," said the Good Corpse.

His moon phase has shifted to Gazing Moon.

With a flash, the entire space seemed to stretch out for a moment.

The Good Corpse appeared at the very back of the crowd on the right, Moonlight Chains rose from all directions—six, sixteen, and eventually countless.

The chains, like living things, meandered through the crowd, wrapping around ankles, wrists, and necks.

Some people want to pull, but you can't; some people want to hide, but you can't.

The Good Corpse stood in the moonlight, its silver-white robes billowing in the wind.

The chains tightened, and cold air and Moonlight poured in at the same time.

Those people fell one by one.

Yun Jingheng walked down the middle path, and his moon phase had switched back to Full Moon.

The sword beam stretched for three zhang (approximately 10 meters), and contained no superfluous techniques; it consisted only of horizontal slashes, diagonal cuts, and forward thrusts.

But each sword strike carries the true damage of Full Moon, and no one can stop it.

Someone rushed out from underground carrying a soul-guided shield, which unfolded to form two layers of light shield.

Yun Jingheng slashed down with his sword, shattering the light shield into countless starlight.

The second sword strike sent the man and his shield slammed into the wall.

With his third sword strike, Yun Jingheng didn't stop, but instead Crescent Slash slash that cut a three-zhang-long gash in the east wall of the grain store.

The second wave of enemies, surging underground, was blocked by this sword strike.

Moonlight streamed in, and screams continued.

The entire eastern part of the city began to light up; it was moonlight.

The Moonlight Yun Jingheng, illuminating the streets surrounding the grain store as if it were daytime.

The alarm finally sounded in Heaven Dou City.

One sound, two sounds, then a continuous chorus, from the east, west, and north of the city.

All the patrols seemed to be pulled by the same line, converging in this direction.

Half-Sweet Coffee projected real-time data into Yun Jingheng's ear. "Master, the East City Grain Depot has been confirmed. Federation patrols are approaching from the west, north, and south. The garrison at the east gate has also been mobilized."

"How many came?"

"At least 120 can be seen right now. Reinforcements are still coming in. There are soul-guided heavy armor vehicles, which have already entered the main street."

Yun Jingheng looked up.

In the night sky, countless searchlights swept across from afar.

He stood on the steps outside the main entrance of the grain store, with a mass of gray-and-black-clad men lying at his feet.

The Good Corpse and the Evil Corpse stand on opposite sides, side by side for three months.

"If we're going to make a scene today, let's make it big." Yun Jingheng brandished his Moonlight Sword, pointing it to the sky.

The real moon in the sky seemed to respond to him; the clouds dispersed, and moonlight fell straight down onto the three swords.

Three sword energies shot into the sky simultaneously, one white, one red, and one silver, intertwining and carving a huge crack in the night sky.

"Nine Sword Heavenly Prison." ×3

Yun Jingheng finally used his fifth Soul Skill.

Nine sword shadows descended from the Moonlight with a thunderous roar, embedding themselves around the grain depot.

The ground seemed to be nailed to the ground.

All the Federation soldiers and Holy Spirit Cult members who rushed in paused for a moment.

It's not that they wanted to stop, it's that the space was locked.

All displacement and spatial elements are prohibited.

Nine sword shadows spun around, emitting shockwaves that circled and sealed the entire area into a moonlit prison.

Anyone who approached froze in place; some remained in charging stances, others knelt with guns raised, all pinned to the spot by the moonlight.

"Not enough." Yun Jingheng landed back on the ground, his eyes now a cold, silvery-white.

His Soul Power surged like a tide, and he gripped the sword with both hands, plunging it into the ground.

The Lunar Extinction Realm.

The world shattered like a mirror.

Everything around began to blur, fade, and collapse.

There was no explosion, no roar. By the time everyone came to their senses, they were no longer in Heaven Dou City.

Beneath my feet lay a silvery-white tundra, and above me hung an astonishingly large, cold moon.

Silence reigned all around, with only Yun Jingheng standing in the very center, the Good Corpse and the Evil Corpse standing behind him.

"Good evening," he said.

All communications were cut off.

Those who had been pulled into the area—the taxi drivers and the Holy Spirit Cult members—looked around in horror.

The air grew colder, the flow of Soul Power slowed down, and something was slowly hollowing out his body.

"To collude with the Holy Spirit Cult? You'd rather die than complain."

Yun Jingheng didn't give them time to react.

He raised his hand, and moonlight gathered into a sphere in his palm.

All the Moonlight within the Lunar Extinction Realm surged towards that sphere.

"Die!"
