Technical "Support"
As the last words of the Half-Sweet Coffee faded, the operations room became so quiet that the sound of the wind seeping in through the cracks in the tent could be heard.
On the projection screen, several lines of text were clearly displayed: "Suggestions for God-Slaying Level Modification", "Plasma Disintegration Blaze Embedding Scheme", and "Feasibility Assessment of External Abyss Breaking".
Zhang Huanyun and Cao Dezhi looked at each other in bewilderment, while Long Tianwu, Long Yuxue, Aruheng, Sima Jinchi remained silent.
The nine members of the Blood God Camp all wore the same expression: they recognized every single word Half-Sweet Coffee said, but couldn't understand them when they were put together.
Tang Wulin, Xu Xiaoyan, Xie Xie, and Yuanen Yehui all looked at Yun Jingheng at the same time.
They heard three words: God-Slaying Level.
Xu Xiaoyan repeated it softly, as if to confirm that she hadn't misheard.
Xie Xie reacted the most, jumping up from the wooden crate. "Wait, when did you get God-Slaying Level? Didn't you say you used both of your level 12 weapons? How come another one has appeared?!"
Yun Jingheng sat there, motionless, his expression indifferent, as if waiting for everyone to finish asking their questions.
Tang Wulin seemed to realize something, his face filled with shock. "Jing Heng, what's going on? You still have one?"
Of course he knew about Shrek's two level-12 Fixed Soul Guidance Cannonball.
Those were made by Yun Jingheng himself; one intercepted God-Slaying Level above Shrek, and the other destroyed most of the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters.
But now the Half-Sweet Coffee is saying there's one left.
When Zhang Huanyun heard the words "level twelve," her face froze.
He slowly turned his head to look at Yun Jingheng, his voice tightening slightly. "You... what level did you just say?"
"God-Slaying Level."
Half-Sweet Coffee answered for Yun Jingheng, his tone still gentle, "General Zhang, the ' God-Slaying Level ' I mentioned is the master's definition, not the official Federation classification."
"Strictly speaking, it does not belong to the level 12 Fixed Soul Guidance Cannonball. The explosive yield of a single shell is enough to Destruction a large city, far exceeding the power of a level 12 shell."
"In the Federation's records, only one airburst is known to have occurred in Shrek City, and another near the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters. However, the Federation is unaware that both of those were made by the same person."
"Hiss..." Long Yuxue asked, "So... so? You created both of the two God-Slaying Level that Shrek launched?"
The operations room became even quieter.
All eyes were fixed on Yun Jingheng.
Zhang Huanyun's fingers unconsciously pressed against the edge of the table, her knuckles turning white.
Cao Dezhi even held his breath. These people had fought in the Far North and the Abyss for decades and had seen large-scale destructive Soul Tool before.
The Federation has dropped heavy Soul Guidance Bomb into the Abyss rift more than once, with varying degrees of success.
But the term "God-Slaying Level" is different; it represents a power that can truly change the world.
They had always believed that the airburst in Shrek City and the explosion near the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters were the trump cards that Shrek Sea God Pavilion had kept hidden for many years, the unfinished work of a reclusive Divine Craftsman.
Now someone is telling them: those two were made by this young man who is not yet eighteen years old.
Xie Xie opened and closed his mouth several times, finally managing to squeeze out only one sentence. "Jing Heng... you're a madman."
Yun Jingheng glanced at him, then swept his gaze over the crowd.
Ye Xinglan stood half a step behind him, her expression calm.
He knew this matter could no longer be suppressed, and rather than letting them continue to speculate, he might as well clarify things once and for all.
So he nodded.
It's me.
He said, his tone not harsh but clear, "Both of them were made by me. They were secretly produced at Shrek Academy. At that time, there was no Federation approval, no support from the Tang Sect, and no authorization from the Sea God Pavilion. Some of the materials I used were collected by me, and some were obtained for me by Wulin."
"The second one was produced within twelve days of the first one being completed. Once the theoretical phase was over, the rest would be done very quickly."
Upon hearing this, Tang Wulin slowly closed his eyes.
He suddenly remembered that back at Shrek, Yun Jingheng had been missing for many days in a row.
He thought he was making protective suits in the lab, but he didn't realize he was making that.
Yuanen Yehui didn't speak, but just looked at Yun Jingheng with a very complicated expression. Xie Xie's legs went weak, and he sat back down on the wooden box.
Zhang Huanyun finally spoke, her voice slightly hoarse. "So, that time in Heaven Dou City..."
"No."
Yun Jingheng said, " In Heaven Dou City, I don't possess any God-Slaying Level, only myself. If I had, Uncle Guan Yue wouldn't have just been standing in the ruins in a daze that night."
He paused, "This one is new. We started making it three months ago. I came to the Far North to actually release it again in the Abyss. I just hadn't figured out how to release it before."
Aruheng, who had been leaning against the wall, couldn't help but ask, "That thing... can it really blast you into the Abyss?"
"Just tear a hole and throw it in, but it still needs some modifications. This one is more powerful than the previous two combined. I wonder if it can collapse one or two floors."
"Blow up... one or two floors?" Zhang Huanyun repeated, his voice carrying an unreal, ethereal quality.
He'd spent half his Abyss fighting in the Abyss, and just being able to hold off an attack from a single Emperor level meant losing half his entire legion.
The young man in front of me casually said he would "blow down one or two floors" without even flinching.
The others didn't dare to even breathe loudly.
Tang Wulin's face darkened, and he said in a low voice, "So this is what you've been doing in the cave for the past three months?"
"And mechs."
Yun Jingheng said, "But compared to it, a mecha is just a vehicle."
He pointed to the slowly rotating three-dimensional structural model on the screen, "The God-Slaying Level is just the core. An explosion alone cannot kill Emperor. However, combined with the Plasma Disintegration Blaze, there is a chance."
"The flames are responsible for burning down the Abyssal Energy barrier, and the explosions are responsible for tearing apart the internal structure. Although the Abyss Monarch won't be killed directly by the explosions, their territories will collapse, and their races will be wiped out."
"Once they become isolated, their next outing won't be an attack, it will be a flight to their deaths."
"Aren't you afraid of blowing up the Far North too?" Long Tianwu couldn't help but ask.
He stepped forward, his voice deep and serious. "Behind us are several cities, hundreds of thousands of people. What if you fire this one and, if you lose control, sink the ice field?"
"Therefore, it needs to be renovated."
Yun Jingheng didn't back down. He pulled up the embedding scheme that Half-Sweet Coffee had just generated, pointed to one of the luminous structures, and said, "This is Plasma Flame Guidance Ring. I'll inject the flame first, then detonate the God-Slaying Level."
"The explosion will travel along the internal structure of the Abyss and will not have a backlash. Of course, this plan still needs to be calibrated in the field."
Zhang Huanyun's expression softened slightly when she heard the words "on-site calibration."
He looked at the screen, then at Yun Jingheng, and slowly said, "You're no longer here in the Far North as reinforcements."
He gave a wry smile. "You're here to hold a funeral for the Abyss."
"However, it's unlikely that the modification will be completed in less than a year or two." Yun Jingheng stood up and looked around.
"Who among you is in charge of Soul Tool manufacturing or weapon improvement?"
Long Tianwu paused for a moment, then said, "Divine Master Commander, Wang Weimin. He's in charge of all Soul Tool research and development and field weapon systems for the legion. He should be in the east workshop right now; it was badly damaged last night."
"Have him come over here," Yun Jingheng said. He took out a thick stack of files from his Storage Soul Tool and placed them on the table.
The edges of the paper still smelled of fresh ink, and the cover was unsigned, with only a tiny crescent moon printed on it.
Zhang Huanyun and Cao Dezhi both looked over.
The stack of files was extremely thick, at least several hundred pages long. Yun Jingheng pushed the files in front of Zhang Huanyun.
"This is the design file for Plasma Decomposition Weapon."
Yun Jingheng said, "It includes theoretical models, energy circuits, manufacturing steps, and practical testing parameters. I've adjusted them, so they should be compatible with your existing soul-guided forging devices."
"As you all saw last night, the flames spewed out by my mech can completely incinerate Abyss creatures. This thing can decompose objects at the ion level, so it's quite useful as a strategic weapon, but it must be strictly controlled."
Zhang Huanyun didn't touch it, she just stared at him. Cao Dezhi picked up the top page, glanced at it, and didn't put it down.
Long Tianwu had already reached the door and instructed outside, "Go and call Wang Weimin. Tell him there are important design files and he needs to come over immediately."
Yun Jingheng added, "The original file is with me. This is just a photocopy. Once things are over in the Far North, the money owed must be paid. I'm not profiting from the national crisis, but I don't intend to give it away for nothing either."
His words finally eased the tension in the room slightly.
Zhang Huanyun's lips twitched, as if she wanted to laugh but couldn't.
Xie Xie muttered under his breath, "You're still thinking about money at a time like this."
Yun Jingheng glanced at him. "Making this thing also has costs, you know. I still owe Teacher Zhen Hua a huge debt when I bought the materials."
Ye Xinglan listened from the side, lowered her head and pursed her lips. Xu Xiaoyan finally couldn't help but chuckle softly.
Tang Wulin rubbed his forehead and shook his head.
