Lunar Yin
The receptionist led the way, her high heels clicking crisply on the alloy floor.
The elevator goes directly to the top floor.
With a soft "ding," the heavy alloy door slid open to both sides.
What greeted the eye was not the luxurious office one might have imagined, but a huge, circular space with an industrial aesthetic.
The walls were covered with forging hammers of all shapes and sizes, from ancient Dark Iron hammers to Soul Guidance Vibration Hammer that shimmered with a pale blue halo, making it look like a museum of cold weapons.
In the center of the room, a burly middle-aged man stood with his back to the door, intently staring at a component on the Workbench.
Hearing footsteps, he turned around.
"Your Silver Moon, it's been a long time."
His voice was much calmer than Cai Yue'er had expected, sounding more like a kind and gentle elder than a top-notch Divine Craftsman in the forging world.
"Long time no see, Divine Craftsman."
Cai Yue'er bowed slightly, her manners impeccable but not overly humble.
"Haha, no need for that, we're all acquaintances."
Zhen Hua laughed heartily, waved his hand, and pointed to the sofa in the reception area, "Sit down, sit down, don't be shy. How's Yun Ming doing lately? Is he still practicing his marksmanship in the yard? Last time I went there, he shot a hole in the roof with one shot, hahaha--"
He laughed as he spoke.
Cai Yue'er sat down on the sofa, her back straight, and smiled gently.
"The roof of the Sea God Pavilion has been repaired. The Pavilion Master said that next time you visit, he will invite you for tea to apologize."
"No need for an apology; his tea is too expensive for me."
Zhen Hua sat down opposite him, his gaze sweeping over Cai Yue'er. "Speak," he said, "Yun Ming sent you to see me. What is it about?"
Cai Yue'er did not rush to answer.
"I heard Yun Jingheng is a genius Soul Engineer, isn't Yun Ming overjoyed?"
"It's been open for a long time, and there's not a trace of failure."
"It's just that Jing Heng's Martial Soul is special, so... there's no suitable One-Word Armor metal."
"Oh? Hahaha, Feng Wuyu is Saint Craftsman, how could he not do anything?"
Cai Yue'er gently shook her head. "That kid Jing Heng doesn't want to use those metals to make his Battle Armor. He feels the main attributes don't match."
"Oh? What kind of metal does he need?"
Cai Yue'er took a deep breath, "Lunar Divine Metal."
Zhen Hua froze for a moment, "Wh-what?"
"Lunar Divine Metal."
Cai Yue'er repeated herself, her tone still calm.
Zhen Hua placed the teacup back on the coffee table, his movements a bit heavier than usual, producing a muffled thud.
He stood up, put his hands behind his back, and paced back and forth in the circular space a couple of times, his boots making a steady sound on the alloy floor.
"You... you want me to use Heavenly Forged Metal to make One-Word Armor?"
"His Martial Soul is extremely Yin, even purer than my Silver Moon Martial Soul."
"Purer than your Martial Soul? What exactly is his Martial Soul?"
"It has the attribute of Moon, and its appearance resembles a sword, but... it shouldn't be a sword. We haven't figured out exactly what it is yet."
"Your Majesty Silver Moon"
Cai Yue'er turned her gaze to the other side, where a burly, greasy-looking middle-aged man in an apron stood.
"I've long admired Body Douluo Mu Ye, whose true form is..."
Mu Ye waved his hand, "Let's skip these things. Do you know how rare the Lunar Divine Metal is?"
"Do you... know why Lunar Divine Metal is so rare?"
"I'm not entirely sure."
Zhen Hua continued, "Lunar Divine Metal is the ultimate Yin attribute, while forging involves tempering in great fire and vigorous hammering. If it is forged, it will become tainted with Yang attributes during the entire process, rendering it no different from scrap iron."
Cai Yue'er frowned deeply, "How could this be...? That piece belonging to Feng Wuyu..."
Zhen Hua sighed and sat down again. "That piece was a byproduct, so it wasn't pure to begin with. It was the result of my deliberate control. I told Feng Wuyu this when he came to me to buy it, but he insisted on buying it."
Mu Ye poured himself a glass of water and drank it down in one gulp. "Elder Cai, go back and tell that kid it's not practical."
Cai Yue'er gently shook her head. "It wasn't Jing Heng's idea."
Zhen Hua was taken aback. "No?"
"It's the Pavilion Master's idea."
Mu Ye frowned. "Why would you have such a thought? Just because your Martial Soul is special?"
"Not entirely, before..."
Cai Yue'er told them about Yun Jingheng's nighttime visit to Feng Wuyu's forging workshop and how he found the piece of Lunar Divine Metal by relying on his intuition.
The two fell silent.
"The connection between attributes?"
"But theoretically and practically speaking, Lunar Divine Metal cannot be forged at all. The piece in Feng Wuyu's hand cannot be called Lunar Divine Metal."
"Yun Ming... what exactly does he mean?"
Cai Yue'er took a deep breath and revealed her true purpose, "Pavilion Master... I want your help to find the raw ore of Lunar Divine Metal."
basement.
The lights were dim, and a faint scent filled the air, mixed with the bitter smell of some kind of medicine.
Several soul-guided screens were embedded in the wall, displaying densely packed data and map coordinates, their blue light flickering in the dim space.
A man in a black cloak stood in front of the screen. He was tall and slender, and the hood of the cloak was pulled low, covering most of his face, revealing only a pale chin and a pair of hands.
His finger swiped lightly across the screen, the tip pausing on a flashing red dot.
"Sure?"
His voice was very soft, as if it came from a very far place, with a metallic, cold quality.
Behind them, a man in black, kneeling on one knee, raised his head. His face was hidden behind a black mask, revealing only a pair of sharp eyes.
"Confirmed. I personally witnessed the target enter the Heaven Dou Royal Academy, and he hasn't emerged since."
The man in the black cloak didn't turn around; his gaze remained fixed on the red dot on the screen.
"Your subordinate is incompetent and has not yet investigated the matter."
"It's not your fault."
The man in the black cloak waved his hand, revealing a hand from the cloak's sleeve. The hand was well-defined, with neatly trimmed nails, but the fingertips had thin calluses—a mark left from long hours of wielding a sword.
He turned around, and the shadow under his hood grew even darker, revealing only a pair of grayish-white eyes, like parched water in winter, devoid of any warmth.
"Sir, shall we just barge in?"
"No, Cai Yue'er is at Tiandou, which is too close to Shrek. If Yun Ming arrives, we will miss all our opportunities."
The man in the black cloak didn't look at him again and slowly walked deeper into the basement.
There was a long stone table with a black velvet cloth on it, and a long sword lay quietly on the cloth.
The sword is long and slender, dark red all over, as if congealed blood is flowing on its surface.
Pluto Douluo - Ha Luosa.
He stood in front of the stone table, looking down at the sword, for a long time.
The dim light shone on his face, finally illuminating his features beneath the hood.
It was a handsome face, with skin so pale it was almost transparent.
At first glance, he looks like a frail scholar who has been ill for a long time, but his grayish-white eyes hide a sinister aura that sends chills down your spine.
"Twenty years... Yun Ming, you've finally decided to let him out."
"My friend... wait a little longer, be more patient. A thousand years have passed, there's no rush."
"To welcome you... I will prepare a grand welcoming ceremony."
"Zhao, wait for me..."
