The Virtual Universe Company had branches throughout the Human Territory, and its virtual network covered almost the entire Original Universe.

Every High-level Universe Country had a branch of the Virtual Universe Company. Even the smaller nations below them had smaller branch offices on their imperial capital planets.

As for commercial planets like Mengyu Planet, though they weren't qualified to have a branch office, they still had service centers where people could open accounts.

The group soon arrived at the Virtual Universe Company. With a staff member guiding them, it didn't take long for them to finish opening their accounts.

While they were at it, everyone bought a Smart Optical Computer. Considering the Gold Soul Clan members, Qi Tian also bought a hundred Consciousness Induction Helmets and opened anonymous accounts.

After leaving the Virtual Universe Company, Mikita led the group to the Universe Galaxy Bank, where he opened bank accounts for everyone.

He also transferred five hundred million Noah Coins into the new account Qi Tian had opened, and told him that the transfer of two more life planets was underway. More funds would be available soon.

Under normal circumstances, someone as strong as Mikita, who had reached Universe Level 2, should have had assets worth well over ten billion Noah Coins.

But he had spent too much before, leaving him with only a few hundred million in liquid assets. He even had to sell off his life planets.

Once all the preparations were complete, Mikita took them to a resort hotel in the tourist district. Before arriving, he had already booked the presidential suite on the top floor.

After they finished checking in, everyone went up to the top floor of the building. The entire floor was reserved for suites, and thirty stunningly beautiful maids were waiting at the entrance under the head butler's direction.

When they entered the suite, Qi Tian experienced its lavishness firsthand. Besides ten bedrooms, it had an indoor swimming pool, a private dining room, an elegant reception room, a lounge bar, and more.

The thirty maids were stationed throughout the suite, ready to serve the guests around the clock and fulfill their every need.

Qi Tian decided that everyone should rest for the night and discuss everything else the next day.

After choosing their rooms, they followed the head butler's arrangements and enjoyed an exquisite meal in the private dining room, sampling delicacies from different planets.

Once they had eaten their fill, everyone returned to their rooms to rest. Qi Tian went into his own room, washed up, and lay down on the soft bed. He connected to the Consciousness Sensor and entered the Virtual Universe for the first time.

"Connecting to the Virtual Universe..."

As a deep, grand voice echoed in Qi Tian's consciousness, darkness enveloped him briefly. When his senses returned, he found himself on a bustling street.

He had been mentally prepared, but the sudden change still left him momentarily dazed.

"So this is the Virtual Universe."

Qi Tian moved his body and found that his physical strength was extremely weak, suppressed to Apprentice level.

As a newcomer to the Virtual Universe, he wore only simple, plain gray clothes. A Smart Sprite attached to the Auxiliary Optical Computer sat on his shoulder, dressed in green.

Its intelligence level was very low. It had only rudimentary emotions and didn't qualify as an intelligent life form. It was only slightly more advanced than the intelligence of a Consciousness Induction Helmet, which had nothing but a processing core.

Before Qi Tian logged into the Virtual Universe, Mikita had already added his contact number. So as soon as Qi Tian entered the Virtual Universe, Mikita contacted him.

Inside a tastefully decorated restaurant on Beihua Island in the Virtual Universe, Mikita and Qi Tian sat by the window, facing the street. They ordered two drinks and some snacks and watched the bustling crowds outside.

Mikita took a sip of a specialty drink, slowly set down his glass, and asked Qi Tian, who was watching the passersby outside, "Buddha Lord, now that you have a Virtual Universe account, you can easily take care of all kinds of things in the Virtual Universe. What should we do next?"

Qi Tian turned from the window to look at him. "In your experience, how can we make money quickly?"

Mikita felt ashamed at the question. The money he could provide Qi Tian wasn't enough to support the cultivation of a Universe Level 9 powerhouse. He silently cursed himself for being so useless.

He thought for a moment, then replied, "The fastest way to make money is to invest in the financial markets, but we don't have the connections. We could make a little money through investments, but making a fortune would be difficult."

"Of course, it's not impossible to get lucky, but the odds are pitifully low."

"Another option is to take on mercenary adventures. The Universe Mercenary Alliance has countless missions. Many offer generous rewards, but they're dangerous too."

Qi Tian nodded as he listened. He knew about secret realms. In the original story, Luo Feng joined the Virtual Universe Company through the Genius Tournament and gained many opportunities while adventuring in secret realms.

But those secret realms were controlled by the upper echelons of the five great powers. Aside from Core Members, even the Outer Members of those powers couldn't get access to them, let alone adventurers from the lowest ranks.

Still, some secret realms weren't all that valuable. After the early plundering, whatever remained wasn't worth investing a great deal of manpower and resources to explore or mine.

That was when the Universe Mercenaries came in. Once powerhouses had dealt with the most dangerous areas, the secret realms could be modified a little, allowing the Mercenary Alliance to establish a presence.

The Alliance could then train its mercenaries by assigning them gathering and exploration missions. This allowed the Human Race to continue developing the secret realms while helping the mercenaries hone their own strength.

A win-win situation!

Qi Tian was also very interested in joining the Universe Mercenary Alliance. Powerhouses needed experience, especially someone like him, who had no faction to protect him. He had to make a name for himself through his own efforts.

Mikita nodded. "No problem."

"The paperwork for selling the life planets should be finished in a couple of days too. We'll have another sum of money coming in then. For now, I'll put together a list of supplies to buy."
