He even tilted his head slightly without realizing it, exposing more of his furry neck to her clutches.

Janet giggled at his reaction. Her laughter rang like silver bells through the silent ruins.
But happy moments were always short-lived.

a mature woman's voice suddenly came from behind Janet.
