Background / History

The Black Hole Engine was unlocked when Ye Xiu encountered his first prey, a Shadow Cat. It manifested as a miniature vortex behind him, which he could direct with his will toward selected targets. Its first devouring enlarged it from 15 to 30 centimeters and established its core function: consuming targets to provide energy and strengthen Ye Xiu. 1

As Ye Xiu consumed increasingly powerful monsters, the Black Hole expanded from a close-range weapon into a large-scale spatial field. It devoured the Silver Moon Fierce Wolf, Bloodthirsty Tank, Giant Rock Black Bear, Mutated Willow Tree, Wood Bud Crystals, and an Emperor-level Tentacle Monster, supporting Ye Xiu's rise from Beast Soldier to Beast Emperor. 2 4 8 9 10 11

After discovering the Meteor Starship, Ye Xiu used the Black Hole to excavate its sealed tunnel. He later threatened the damaged vessel with its gravitational pull until Babata surrendered Hu Yanbo's Falling Ink Star inheritance. 12 13 14

Following the inheritance, Ye Xiu applied greater spatial precision to the Black Hole. It destroyed the Thunder Dragon Emperor, overcame the Golden Horned Beast's competing devouring talent through rotational reversal, and helped weaken the beast enough for a Black Hole Soul Seal to be implanted. 25 26 27 28

During the Zerg Hive conflict, the Black Hole was adapted into a mobile clearing weapon that annihilated swarms, dragged the Hive's main body out of the ground, and shifted into focused targeted consumption against it. 34 35

Appearance

The Black Hole manifests as a pitch-black, rotating vortex behind Ye Xiu. Its presence twists surrounding space and produces a gravitational field that pulls in matter, energy, and attacks. 1 11
