After returning to his place, Xu Qing thought it over and decided to visit the Xu Family and tell Xu Xin about what had happened.

"That sounds good," Qin Lin said with a nod.

"Linlin, do you want to come with me?" Xu Qing invited her.

Qin Lin shook her head. "Maybe not today. I haven't prepared anything."

"All right," Xu Qing said. He understood her concerns and didn't press her.

"Come on, I'll take you," Qin Lin said.

Qin Lin then drove Xu Qing to the entrance of Xu Family Manor.

"I'll come pick you up again tomorrow," she said with a smile, then drove off.

Xu Qing watched Qin Lin leave before turning and walking into the manor.

When he reached the villa, he spotted a car he didn't recognize. "Do we have a guest?"

Once inside, he saw that many members of the Xu Family were there: Xu Xin, Xu Gang, Xu Xin's parents, and the old master. They were talking with a young man.

Xu Qing realized that the visitor wasn't a stranger after all. He was the young master of the Wang Family, the one Xu Qing had met once before.

What's this guy doing here? Xu Qing frowned, but he still walked over without showing what he thought.

"Sister Xin, Elder Brother, Uncle, Auntie, Grandpa, I'm back," Xu Qing greeted them.

When Xu Xin saw him, she was delighted. "Xiao Qing, come over here."

Xu Qing walked over and sat down beside Xu Xin.

"Where have you been having fun, Xiao Qing? We haven't seen you for days," Xu Gang asked with a smile.

"I'm not telling you," Xu Qing said with a cheeky grin.

Xu Gang shrugged. "I know. You only tell one person."

As he spoke, he glanced at his younger sister, Xu Xin.

"Hello, Xu Qing. This is the second time we've met, right?" The Wang Family's young master, Wang Xingping, spoke up.

"Yeah. Hello, Young Master Wang," Xu Qing replied casually.

Wang Xingping continued, "Xu Qing, you seem to be quite close to Teacher Qin. As far as I know, she's a War General-level Warrior from the Limit Martial Arts Hall. She's pretty strong."

"Yeah. So what?" Xu Qing nodded.

"I've only heard it through the grapevine, but lots of people at school are saying that you and Teacher Qin are dating. Is it true?" Wang Xingping asked, curiosity in his eyes.

He'd been pretty surprised when he first heard about it.

The main thing was that Teacher Qin had quite a remarkable status, and she was beautiful, too. If she were an ordinary person, she'd probably have a long line of admirers.

Even Wang Xingping had been dazzled when he saw her photo. But he'd never dream of pursuing a Warrior, since he was just an ordinary person, despite being the young master of the Wang Family.

At that, the old master and Xu Xin's parents all turned to look at Xu Qing. "Xiao Qing, is it true?"

"Grandpa, Mom, Dad, Xiao Qing is a Warrior. It's perfectly normal for Warriors to date other Warriors," Xu Xin said, worried they might misunderstand.

"A Warrior?! When did Xiao Qing become one? How come we didn't know?" The three of them looked astonished.

Besides, no matter how they looked at him, they couldn't imagine Xu Qing becoming a Warrior.

"It's true. Xiao Qing became a Warrior before the school year started," Xu Gang added.

Since even Xu Gang said so, the old master and the others had no reason to doubt it. They were simply surprised by Xu Qing.

The Xu Family was a family of merchants and had never had a Warrior among them. Even Xu Gang and Xu Xin hadn't pursued the path of a Warrior, since they were expected to inherit the family business.

"Having the status of a Warrior isn't a bad thing," the old master said with a nod.

Once Xu Xin and Xu Qing graduated, it would also help him support Xu Xin in her work.

"Xiao Qing, what level of Warrior is that teacher?" Xu Xin's parents asked.

"Intermediate War General," Xu Qing replied.

A flicker of surprise crossed Xu Xin's parents' eyes. An Intermediate War General was quite powerful, and with the Limit Martial Arts Hall behind her, her status was even higher than that of an ordinary Advanced War General.

"Oh, right. I'm a Junior War General now. I've already had my level reassessed," Xu Qing added, remembering something.

A big shot like that was so influential that even the old master of the Xu Family might not have been able to meet him.

"Yeah," Xu Qing said with a nod.

Xu Gang's breathing quickened. He really wanted to meet someone that important, too. He couldn't even imagine sitting down to dinner with him.

"Xiao Qing, was the President you mentioned called Zhou Yongzheng?" the old master asked, unable to hold back.

"Yeah, that's his name," Xu Qing replied.

The old master took a deep breath, his expression one of shock. He couldn't believe Xu Qing had already sat down to dinner with someone so important. He'd surpassed even the old master himself, the Family Head of the Xu Family.

Xu Xin's parents exchanged a glance, equally stunned. They'd only ever seen someone of that stature once or twice from a distance. They didn't even have the standing to approach him and strike up a conversation.

Xu Qing had accomplished all by himself what they couldn't.

"Why would the President of the Limit General Hall meet with you?" Wang Xingping asked, unable to help himself.

Even if Xu Qing was an eighteen-year-old Junior War General, that alone shouldn't have been enough to draw the President of the Limit General Hall's attention.

"Why wouldn't he? It's because I'm a genius, of course! Linlin also said the President wants to send me abroad to train at the Elite Training Camp. I just don't know when I'll have to leave," Xu Qing said with a troubled look.

By then, everyone was dumbfounded. They all fell silent.

"Pfft... Do you even know how impressive the Elite Training Camp is? It's a place Warriors all over the world dream of going. Only the most gifted among the gifted can get in." Xu Xin poked him on the forehead.

Her silly little brother had no idea what it meant that he was about to enter the Elite Training Camp.

"Hahaha... Oh my god, someone from the Xu Family is going to the Elite Training Camp!" Xu Gang laughed excitedly.

It wasn't just Xu Gang. Even the old master of the Xu Family could no longer stay calm. His body trembled slightly.

The Underground Alliance only had a handful of places at the Elite Training Camp each year, and getting one required paying an enormous price. That showed just how precious they were.
