Obito Uchiha had been saved by Madara and now lived deep underground. Though he harbored doubts about Madara and Shin's identities, his injuries left him unable to move independently, so he could only stay there helplessly.

Obito did not dislike either of them. During his recovery, they had been the ones he talked to. Otherwise, he could hardly imagine how he would have endured so long in such a silent, dark environment.

"How are you feeling?" White Zetsu asked with a smile. He wore a smiling expression most of the time.
"Terrible, of course." Obito sighed, then asked, "How long has it been since I came here? It feels like years have passed. Am I really going to live here for the rest of my life?"
