"Yes, Lord Shin. Based on the conversation between the original body and Obito Uchiha, it seems he intends to begin carrying out the plan and has set his first target on Konoha's Nine-Tails."
"I see. Young people really are impatient." Shin chuckled and nodded approvingly at White Zetsu. "You've done well. From now on, report this kind of intelligence about Obito to me immediately as well."
The White Zetsu clone said, "Does Lord Shin have any further instructions? Should Obito's plan be stopped?"
"Stopped?" Shin asked strangely. "Why stop him? If he has such thoughts, let him do as he pleases. If Konoha were so easily destroyed, it would not have stood firm in the Ninja World for so long."
"Then I'll take my leave first," the White Zetsu clone said before sinking into the earth and vanishing.
After he left, Shin raised his head and looked toward the distant mountains. It was already Konoha's fifty-eighth year, and the so-called plot was drawing ever closer. Because Konoha had been founded ten years earlier here, some events had differed considerably from the original work.
Yet the major events had not deviated much. If Shin had calculated the timing correctly, then this year, Minato Namikaze, who had only recently succeeded to the position of Hokage, would die in the coming Nine-Tails calamity.
