Outside Konoha Academy, a loud shout rang out as a powerful Lightning Style attack struck the red barrier. Lightning surged across its surface, only to be absorbed by the leaping red chakra without causing even the slightest ripple, let alone breaking the barrier.
Kakashi panted heavily, sweat continuously dripping from his forehead due to exhaustion. He had lost track of how many times he had tried to break the barrier, yet every attempt had ended in the same despairing result.

On the other side, Might Guy launched yet another tireless attack, though the result was clearly still the same—the barrier did not budge.
"Damn it! How can youth come to a halt in a place like this?!" Might Guy shouted, forcing out another roar as he prepared for his next attack.
Kakashi sighed silently and did not continue forming hand seals. He had never possessed much chakra to begin with, and after using Lightning Blade several times, along with its shape transformations, he could barely keep going.
"Shikaku, what do we do now?" He turned and asked Shikaku Nara beside him.
Shikaku Nara stared solemnly at the barrier, stroking his chin in silence. He was the captain of Konoha's Jonin corps and the Hokage's chief assistant. His status in the village was second only to its four highest-ranking elders. With both Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo trapped within the barrier, even the remaining two elders had to seek his opinion.
Besides Kakashi, the other ninja all looked toward him as well, including Hyuga Hiashi, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Akimichi Choji. Even Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu, who had arrived only recently, were watching him now, hoping he could produce a reliable battle plan.
