The Sage of Six Paths' gaze passed over Naruto and turned toward the distant reaches of the spiritual space, as if he had fallen into some memory. After a moment, he spoke calmly.
"My mother... I don't know how to describe her. I couldn't even sense a distinction between good and evil in her. Like her eye technique, she was white as a blank sheet of paper. She unified the world because she needed to. Later, she cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi and imprisoned everyone for the same reason. Even merging with the Divine Tree was for that same reason... power.
"In Mother's heart, the concept of peace never existed from the beginning. To her, everyone else in the world was no different from insects. It wasn't that she was cold-blooded or anything of the sort—she simply had no such concept.
"I don't know where Mother came from. The only thing I know is that she was not from this world. So using her as an example has no persuasive value."
Naruto's eyes lit up, and he hurriedly said, "Then does that mean Teacher Lu Xuan's method might be feasible? Handing the entire world over to one person is certainly too risky, but I believe in Teacher's character."
