"A child?" Kumogakure's scout ninja exclaimed in surprise.
"Should we send a signal?" another asked.
"It's just a child. He probably got lost or something. Capture him first, then send someone to report to the commander."
After their brief exchange, one of them leaped down and headed toward the child.
"Kid, this isn't a place you should be," the Kumogakure ninja said in a low voice, blocking Naruto's path.
Naruto looked up at him and asked, "Is this Kumogakure's camp?"
"Hm?" The Kumogakure ninja narrowed his eyes. The other party clearly was not an ordinary child who had simply gotten lost; at the very least, he knew what this place was.
"That's right. What is your purpose for coming here?" This time, his tone had turned sharp, and he was ready to make a move at any moment.
"I'm Naruto. I want to see the person in charge of Kumogakure." Naruto looked up, speaking with a serious expression.
"Huh?" The Kumogakure ninja uttered in confusion, as though he had not understood.
But two seconds later, he came to his senses and looked at Naruto as if he were an idiot. "So he's a lunatic. Forget it... Let's capture him first."
Muttering under his breath, he attacked Naruto directly. He did not use much strength; people always instinctively underestimated children of that age.
Yet the instant he moved, a golden chakra arm burst out from Naruto's body and bound him with terrifying force, leaving him utterly unable to resist.
"Sigh, you people... I knew this would happen. You wouldn't listen to a word I said unless I made a move." Naruto curled his lip. The golden chakra arm lifted the Kumogakure ninja and walked toward Kumogakure's main camp.
Almost the moment Naruto subdued that Kumogakure ninja, alarms rang throughout the camp.
