Inside outer space, Kakashi and Sasuke, standing within the golden Nine-Tails, stared dumbfoundedly at the scene before them.
Countless meteorites floated irregularly through space. Other than that, there was only darkness and silence. Nothing remained.
"The... moon, it's just gone?" Kakashi said in disbelief.
Sasuke twitched his mouth and glanced at Naruto beside him, truly unsure what expression he should be wearing right now.
Naruto said to the two of them, "I didn't control my strength well enough. Besides, the moon itself had already been cut in half by Otsutsuki Toneri, so this outcome makes sense. Though I hadn't planned on blowing up the moon in the first place."
Faced with Naruto's explanation, Kakashi and Sasuke seemed to have no response other than silence.
They were not even discussing the same thing. They had absolutely nothing in common to talk about.
After a while, Kakashi decided to stop dwelling on the matter and asked instead, "Naruto... now that the moon has been destroyed, how are we supposed to get back?"
