After Wild Bite, Iori's follow-up came immediately. Pale flames appeared in his hands, each move flowing perfectly into the next, giving his opponent no time to react at all.
Cold sweat immediately dripped from Gilgamesh's forehead. He hurriedly flashed backward while drawing a longsword from the Gate of Babylon and raising it to block.

Iori Yagami's beastlike crimson nails struck it, producing the sound of metal clashing against metal. Purple pale flames erupted and scorched their way along the sword toward Gilgamesh, frightening him into immediately throwing it away.
But it was of little use. From the moment Iori Yagami got close, his fate had seemingly been sealed.
Gilgamesh kept retreating, but every step placed him directly within his opponent's next move. Sparks constantly burst from his golden armor. He had no idea how many claw strikes he had already suffered; if not for this incredibly defensive suit of armor, his body would likely have long been covered in wounds.
"Damn bastard... I have to widen the distance!" That thought flashed through Gilgamesh's mind as he retreated in disarray.
Then, golden spatial ripples appeared, accompanied by the rattling of chains. In an instant, several chains emerged from space and shot toward Iori Yagami to bind him.

His gaze shifted slightly. Noticing the approaching chains, Iori's feet suddenly slid forward in an eerie motion, his figure almost ghostlike. The chains' first attempt at binding him immediately missed.
He raised a hand and grabbed the other man's arm. Gilgamesh instantly found himself unable to exert any strength and was involuntarily pulled off course.
