After a moment of silence, the Pope said, "Tell me what you want."
Shin revealed a foxlike smile and said in a low voice, "Simple. I'll return the Cancer Gold Cloth to you, and when I need it, you help me once. Fair and reasonable, isn't it?"
The Pope was clearly considering it. Then he spoke calmly, and Shin's smile deepened.
After some bargaining, Shin reached an agreement with him. As a gesture of good faith, Shin returned the Cancer Gold Cloth first.
