The branch had been personally broken off by Shin back then, so there was no problem with it. Closing his eyes to sense it, he indeed found a fragment of the Heavenly Dao within the branch.
It differed slightly from the Heavenly Dao of the One Piece World.
Of course, compared to the complete Heavenly Dao of the One Piece World, these shattered fragments could only produce one percent of the effect.
That could not be helped. After all, Madara was not him. Shin possessed the origin of Dark Gaia itself, allowing him to subdue the Heavenly Dao and drag an entire world over.
But the Heavenly Dao within these branches had been shattered far too severely. Madara had probably gotten carried away in battle and simply could not stop himself.
If it had been Senju Hashirama, he would probably have used a gentler method, and the world likely would not have been destroyed.
After all, as long as the world's origin remained, a new Heavenly Dao would be born after the old one was destroyed. Though it would be extremely weak, it could still keep that world from collapsing.
That was because Light Gaia, the supreme Heavenly Dao of the entire multiverse, still existed.
Such was the cycle of the Heavenly Dao, endlessly recurring.
With a casual toss, Shin threw out the branch. It transformed directly into a streak of light and entered the distant Divine Tree. The entire tree seemed to tremble once, then fell still again.
Shin closed his eyes and sensed it. His strength had improved by a tiny amount—roughly equivalent to a hundred years of cultivation.
That was still a decent gain.
After that came the usual reminiscing. Everyone spoke of the changes in this world and of the past.
They were also quite curious
