"Now then, are you willing to make the exchange?" Uchiha Madara sat calmly, as though he had Yao Lao completely figured out.
Yao Lao's expression shifted unpredictably. In his soul state, he should not have been capable of such rich changes in expression, yet the fluctuations of his soul had thoroughly betrayed him.
After a moment, Yao Lao gave a bitter smile. "Fine, you win!"
He had wanted to put on airs and bargain with Madara based on his experience, but he realized that would be meaningless.
His desire for Kagutsuchi had already surpassed everything else. If the deal ultimately fell through, he would regret it for the rest of his life.
Madara nodded with a smile. "Very good. Kagutsuchi for the Flame Mantra, Amaterasu for the Bone Chilling Flame. A fair trade, with no deception!"
"Deal!" Without a second thought, Yao Lao said, "However, I can only give you half of the Bone Chilling Flame. This flame is still of great use to my disciple!"
"No problem!" Madara replied immediately. To him, as long as he obtained a trace of this Heavenly Flame, he could deduce the rest from its properties. Half or all of it made little difference.
Yao Lao nodded, then turned his gaze elsewhere. Black flames immediately emerged in the void, appearing on the wall beside them. They were dark and profound, like the fires of the Nine Nethers hell.
"This flame..." Yao Lao cried out in shock once more.
He could sense the uniqueness of this flame. It contained immense destructive power and could use anything as fuel. Its might was actually no less than that of a Heavenly Flame.
"An eternal flame—Amaterasu! You are not losing out by trading your Bone Chilling Flame for it!" Uchiha Madara explained from the side.
